I dont believe that will change until they start receiving the RFE's back from petitioners. It should hopefully IMO take a big jump come the next update.

the processing time that concerns me is that of the NVC., being that it is the ' pond' that all the streams trickle into so to speak. 10,000 petitions in a backlog ( is that correct??) What happens should we be lucky enough that the service centers haul a##, for an avalanche to hit the NVC??? I fear the average processing time of 2 weeks will be history and we will face a whole new wait game..

I dont think so. We got our NOA1 on february 28 and got already approved. i dont really trust the processing timeline that are posted on there.

Couldnt agree more,these timelines are a load of bollocks,Im doing a 601 thru Vermont and I get my wife to call them for updates on a regular basis,which is the best way as at least if you are real nice to the peep they will impart some information,not a lot but some.

After you receive NOA2 your case will be sent to NVA how long it will linger there is anyones guess?

My case has been approved and is heading there now I'll keep it posted.

The NVC is supposed to receive, assign a case number for the consulate, and then send it to the consulate. Usually done in 2 weeks, but there have been people waiting longer, and some that have been put in security check limbo even at NVC stage.
