EAD biometrics on 06/02

EAD approval 06/12

EAD received 06/20

I was surprised that it only took a month to obtain the initial EAD. I was expecting to have to obtain an interim EAD after 90 days.

Good luck to everyone waiting for their EAD.

28 March 2006 - AOS package recieved (day 1)

4 April 2006 - I-130, I-765 (EAD) NOA date by USCIS. NO AP, yet. (day 7)

6 April 2006 - Checks cashed (NOT AP)

7 April 2006 - I-130, I-765 NOA's recieved in mail! (day 10)

10 April 2006 - I-131 (AP) RETURNED. Should have mailed it to Nebraska Service Center <confused> (originally sent it to Chicago Lockbox with AOS..) (day 13)

11 April 2006 - I-131 mailed to Nebraska as requested (day 14)

14 April 2006 - Bio appt letter in mail (day 17)

17 April 2006 - I-131 (AP) NOA1 received(day 20)

18 July - I-485 "after approving your application, we ordered you a new card" email received.

24 July - GREEN CARD RECEIVED! All info correct. Apply to lift conditions 7/13/08

Congrats! Mine was approved fast too. I hope you have a speedy SSN experience. I am still waiting for my SSN because they said I wasn't it the system and needed to send a form to Miami.

The whole EAD application still boggles me. I don't understand how some people wait 120 days and some 30.

April A friend told me that she thought my ideal man lived in Wyoming or Montana.

May 17 Did search on match.com. Found no-one in Wyoming. Only wrote to one person in Montana...his name was John. He replied two hours later.

Jun 26 Flew to Missoula to meet him & a weekend trip turned into a five week visit...

Many trips between US, Canada & Europe.

2005

March 31 During a meeting in Vancouver, John proposed & I said YES!!!

Jun 2 Finally sent off our I-129F & a few days later we received NOA1. I am now officially an alien bride-to-be.

Aug 22 Email notification of NOA2.

Sep 12 Received letter to say application would be forwarded to US Embassy.

Nov 23 Returned packet 3 to Embassy

Same here, the effectivity of my EAD is May 25. Received the card on June 8th, applied for SSN on June 9th. I've been following up with SSA every couple of days since... So much for speedy EAD processing.
