I know the number is supposed to be busy, but I've been calling it everyday since last week and got through 1st go. I have tried all day today and it has been busy. I thought it was because it was daytime hours, but I'm still getting the busy tone. Anyone try and get through today?

Nevermind!!!! I just got through and got our number using the AVR! They said it was assigned on Friday. I talked to an operator late Friday and she said they hadn't my case yet. Who cares. I have it now. I can go ahead and e-mail the DS-3230 now right? I don't have to wait or anything?

I have called today and have had no luck either....NVC is slowing down. I haven't rec'd a DS3032 or AOS bill

Do you think it is a good idea to email the choice of agent anyway?

Once case number assigned and know the NVC case number, beneficiary can send the DS-3032 by e-mail. Do not wait for mail from NVC regarding DS-3032.

NVC mail is good for AOS package has IIN, which allow you to pay AOS and IV bills.

They keep telling me 6-8 weeks to receive the bills generated. Is this really true? again I feel like I am missing something how does someone get through NVC complete 19 days, 30 days when they tell me wait 6-8 weeks just to have first bill generated?

I'm soooo confused

That is just the standard line they use - ignore it and continue to check the AVR or speak to an operator. You can have a look at the spreadsheet link in my timeline and that will give you an idea of how long it took those of us approved in January to fly through NVC. Good luck!
