I have sent a letter to the NVC to have my case changed from IR2 and be returned to F1 to allow my baby to accompany me to the US (CSPA caused it to be changed from F1 to IR2). My mom filed for me in 2003 and my case became current and NVC had sent us the Agent of choice letter and AOS bill (which was payed because i still thought my preference category was F1) only to find out that my category has been changed to IR2 and my baby cant come with me. However after contacting them they asked me for my child birth certificate and a letter and said it would be changed back to F1.

My question is when they change back my preference category back to f1 will i have to wait for my priority date to become current or will i be processed being that they had already started the process?

they have sent the Immigrant visa bill

SO CURIOUS......

You'll have to wait until your PD becomes current to get a visa. However, you will be contacted a few months before your PD becomes current to start the paperwork.

so i keep the visa bill and affidavit of support form and documents until they contact me?

What if i'm not contacted within a next year do i need new documents and will the affidavit of support fee expire?
