It is. But he's fun to laugh at though - how a supposedly educated person can be so bone-crushingly stupid ;)

Ironically something you have said about pretty much everyone you disagree with. Yet when challenged to back it up you pull what is know as a PD and then make it out as if the member you are attacking who is challenging you is some sort of freak. Good try mate but this tactic of yours does not work with me.

But anyway. We must all be stupid unlike you, a writer of all things. One of the easiest courses/fields to get into at my old college. Actually the lowest SAT equivalent requirement of any field. After all 26,000 posts later and not even 2% of your posts actually involve discussing a topic or forming an opinion of your own about the topic. Rather, the other 98% involve your opinion of other member's posts or them.

What proof? Like many others, check out post 22 & 24 of this thread.

BY - you entered this thread (as you often do) with a whole slew of generalised attacks against other people based on your assumptions of their views.

Perhaps if you advanced an opinion that doesn't involve the perceived deficiencies of other people, you wouldn't be the target of similar attacks.

The only thing predictable here is your constant bloody whining. For God's sake man - grow a pair!

I can enter this thread however I like but at least I have an opinion. I am not the one who camps out in OT yet has nothing valid to say.

If you don't like what I write get a life and move on. You guys just said the exact same thing in another thread about Peejay (whining). Or have you become the unofficial OT moderator were you alone get to pick and choose who and what should be discussed.

The only thing predictable is your response and one liner rebuttals. Something many people here notice. So the joke is on you mate. Whatever floats your boat though.

According to the Internal Revenue Service, the 400 richest American households earned a total of $US138 billion, up from $US105 billion a year earlier. That's an average of $US345 million each, on which they paid a tax rate of just 16.6 per cent.

The difficulty is, it's not just about one country. It's about regional security and stability. I guess the calculation is that it would cost far more resources to deal with the Korean's kicking off again and then having Russia and China brought into the mix, than it would to throw money at the problem in a preventative (or band aid depending on your POV) way.

The other issue is the politics and spending cogs turn slowly, and it's oftentimes easier to go along with what administrations did in the past than open up a whole can of worms. Plus, the US has got other things to worry about at the moment. Kind of like "which kid do I deal with first? The one who is doing crystal meth, or the one who is shoplifting, or the one who is bullying a kid at school" it's all bad, but when you can't deal with everything all at once you've got to make choices.

Very interesting. I am reminded of some whom, given these options, would rather just whine about the 8 year old that looked at his sister the wrong way.

Wishing you ten-fold that which you wish upon all others.

Lets see Boo. Your opinion on this topic involves a good deal of nudging and winking and essentially boils down to: "What would a liberal do? heehee-hee! they're all talk and no action, because at least I'd get out there with my Sawed-off and give Kim Jong Il what for!"

And I'm only responsible for what I say - I'm not sure I understand why there should be some collective responsibility on my part for things that others write about others.

The US is no different from any other imperial/colonial power throughout history. Of course these days we're less concerned about securing territory in the way that the European Empires did from the 16th - 19th centuries - there's no need when it can be ensured through economic treaties. We tolerate Kim Jong Il because of his alliance with the Chinese. In that respect the Chinese are interested in Korea for the same reasons we are: because its a country located in a strategically important part of the far east.

At least it is an opinion.

Lets summarize PD's opinion. Oh wait there is none as he is too bus, as usual, rebutting another poster he has a history of disagreeing with. For the sole sake of disagreeing of course.

Actually I generally only post in threads if I feel I have something worthwhile to add to the discussion. Your idea of an opinion seems to involve posting for the heck of it just so you can say you have an one.

Actually your 26,000 posts suggest otherwise. Your tactics are something well noted by other members.
