How do I know my case number?

We just mailed out our I-130 and I-485 packages, how do I know what my case number is so that I can keep track of it? Do I just have to wait until they mail us something or do we have to do something?

yup, or wait for them to cash the fee payment.... it is typically on the third line of the endorsement... For you it will begin MSC2009XXXXXXXXX

It will be on your NOA receipt notice and it will be written on the back of your endorsed cheque.
