So why do they ask for bank statement? and a letter from the bank?

Hey I am in the military too, bank statesment and bank letter to verify that you have an actual account consistent with your income. How much money you need to be in the bank, as long as it shows that you have money to support yourself and 3. What I did is have all my military les for the last 6 months and it also shows there your ETS. Yes all we need is 100% above the poverty line. Show them what you have deposited monthly or bimonthly for your myPay. The rest is spends for the bills and misc stuff. Its weird because they never asked for a bank letter from me but then I used the same bank for 11 years since I have been in the military for 11 years. Godluck...AIR ASSAULT !!!

As far as I-864 EZ, I did that but alot of people here went to the USEM stated that they only take the I-864... to be safe I did I-864 instead of I-864EZ...

FYI - Bank account(s) [statements] aren't used to verify/validate income - bank account(s) are not even required at all (although most people actually have at least one).
