You fill in the WHITE I-94 they will hand you on the plane. The green one (I-94W) is only for VWP travellers. And that's the only form you fill in  . Just make sure you have the sealed envelope they gave you at the embassy to hand, give it to the POE immigration person, and away you go.

Why would you think you'll get a hard time at POE, btw?

So the white form is the only form i will fill in?? ok that works. well i havent got my sealed envelope yet, the only thing they gave me back at the embassy was my chest x-ray which the interviewer opened in front of me. I will be getting my Passport (envelope as well im assuming) tomorrow morning between 8am and noon.

Im not expecting to get a hard time at POE, all i said was i bet its quite nerve racking, im just not taking for granted that it will all go smoothly, so if it doesnt, i will not be disapointed, you know? just the way i work i guess.

The envelope that the Usembassy gives you , you need that . If you don't have that envelope Immigration will not let you enter , at the poe . It will be an envelope that is written on it Do Not Open can only be opened by Immigration Officer at Port of Entry . And it's a sealed envelope , with it sealed twice , and if you open that envelope . They will deny you entry into the United States , and send you back too the country you come from . What is inside that envelope is only government documents of your visa and the original petition send too Uscis , and posibley your medical exam papers . And a CD with copy of all the documents in it . It is not worth opening that package , and if you do you will be very sorry , you will not be able to enter the USA . And the chances of you and your fiancee being together will be over , many people have open the package before .

So you got to experience her too lol its gotta be the same women. I did prefer Dublin Airport to Manchester Airport as I found it had more shops and more to do. I also got to have my last 100% genuine poured Irish Guinness too. I hope she never put SSS on your boarding pass.

Big butch woman? I've no idea what she put on my boarding pass. I last flew out of Dublin with Aer Lingus without any hassle.

She wasn't butch in her 30s id say. She was only downside to my journey. AA was very good to be honest. My flight to Louisville had been canceled and someone at AA had the brains to put me on the next flight so when I had got my bags a lady from AA had asked me what flight you on next and I told her and she said thats been canceled you been put on the next flight I was happy about that as it had all be sorted. There was delays that day and 17 people on standby for the next flight I was on. International passengers get a prority for getting put on an overbook flight.

Slightly off topic but does anyone know what marking or code or whatever gets printed on your boarding pass to single you out for extra inspection? I don't even know if there is such a thing but on one of my trips over here in early '07, every single time my boarding pass was scanned or looked at, I was pulled aside for screening.

At the main security checkpoint at MAN, I got a full wanding and pat-down (even though I didn't set off the metal detector), at the boarding gate I was pulled aside and had my hand-luggage searched and another pat-down. At PHL I was put into secondary processing by CBP, was asked questions by the customs people when most others were being let straight through. I got the now familiar wanding & pat-down combo at the TSA checkpoint and my bag was 'swabbed' for chemical residues. Finally, after a mind-numbing 6 hour wait for my connection, I was asked the pre-screening questions (did you pack your own bags, etc) all over again at the gate for my flight to ATL.

Was I just incredibly unlucky or was my card marked? It certainly felt like it!!!

Also be prepared to have an immigration officer who does not have a clue what the K-1 visa is!!! I had to explain the whole darn process to the one who attended to me, she then took my xray and proceeded to squash it into the 'DO NOT OPEN ENVELOPE', Mmmm, I thought, hope I wont need that.

wow! i don't think that was supposed to happen? lol. dare i ask where that was? my airport had no clue what they were doing either luckily it was too early in the morning for people to care about asking questions.

Just an anecdotal comment about a time I was waiting in a fairly long line to go through security for an international flight out of Houston. The guy behind me started chatting with me and said he always had extra screening because he was "marked." He went on the explain the airlines mark you when you book last minute or book one way, which he almost always did. He pointed to something on his boarding pass...maybe it was just a circle around something. I totally forgot. I'd never heard of such, but your post reminded me of that conversation with the guy.

Thanks :) There must be some way of easily identifying SSSS passengers from the codes on the boarding pass because mine had nothing written on it. I guess I was unlucky and drew the random 'lucky extra screening' seat  because I didn't fit any of the other categories - it was a round trip (albeit 89 days ), paid 1 month in advance with a debit card. I did have a previous 'no-show' with the same airline (US Airways) but that was erm... 6 months prior. Perhaps that was it??

Anyway, curiosity satisfied, ta :)
