Im wondering how you did an intial EAD e-file for a k-3 visa. I looked into it and k-3 is not listed as eligible to file electronically.

Always wondered why k-1's could, but not k-3's.

"you fondle my trigger then you blame my gun"

Timeline: 13 month long journey from filing to visa in hand

If you were lucky and got an approval and reunion with your loved one rather quickly; Please refrain from telling people who waited 6+ months just to get out of a service center to "chill out" or to "stop whining" It's insensitive, and unecessary. Once you walk a mile in their shoes you will understand and be heard.

Thanks!

My understanding is that the EAD a K1 can file for electronically is the worthless $340 EAD that is only good until their I94 expires.

Their one-year EAD which they receive when they file to adjust status (sort of comparable to what a K3 gets - except the K3 is better because it's good for two years) has to be filed paper-based.

So - it's not an advantage. IMO.

I wasnt trying to go off topic with the k-1 vs k-3, i posted the link to show that when i asked about the e-filing, no one spoke up to say they had filed electronically for EAD via k3, that was the OP's ?

Please do update us when its received, it will be good news for us :)
