The NVC has forwarded my CR1 Case to the US embassy in Cairo, Egypt on March 9th 2009 and when I contacted the embassy to ask about my Case, they said: "We still did not receive the case file in the immigrant unit in Cairo.", I don't really know how long should I wait till the embassy schedules the interview for me and how can I locate my case and know where exactly it is... is that a normal situation? is there anyone who had experienced the same thing?

Is it possible that NVC held up your case for more checks? Try calling NVC again.

Don't just open your mouth and prove yourself a fool....put it in writing.

It gets harder the more you know. Because the more you find out, the uglier everything seems.

I've called the NVC several times and they've told me that they do not know anything anymore about my case as it was forwarded to the US embassy in Cairo.

Thanks anyways :)
