Good morning People ! I am desperated ..... I need your help

I just found out that I made a mistake on the G325 form My husband was born in Harrisburg PA but on his birth certificate is written county of birth Dauphin PA , so instead of written Harrisburg as city of birth I wrote Dauphin since the fisrt G325A for I130 package and my husband wrote Harrisburg as city of birth instead Dauphin like me I freaked out when I discovered that cause now our papers to I129F package will sent tomorrow......

Do you think we´ll have any kind of problem cause of this msitake ? His birth certifacate is written Dauphin PA, do you think will this cause any kind of problem ?

Help me pleaseeee

Wishing all the best for the February fillers !!!!

The city name should be the same as what is reflected on his birth certificate. If there is inconsistency between the G-325A for the I-130 and the G-325A for the I-129F, the likelihood of an RFE being issued increases, but is not necessarily guaranteed. If you've already submitted one form w/ Dauphin PA, AND his birth certificate states Dauphin PA, then the second form should also state Dauphin PA.

The important fact from the point of view of the process is that he was born in the US, which makes him a US Citizen and therefore eligible to petition for you. The petition would be approvable regardless of where he was born as long as it was inside the US.

The adjudicator might notice the inconsistency and send an RFE asking for an explanation. If so, wait until it comes and then send the info it requests.

Or the adjudicator might notice the inconsistency and say "oh well, it doesn't really matter where in the US he was born, I can see that, regardless of what clerical error might have been made here, he was born in the US, he's a US Citizen, and that's the important thing", and so the petition may be approved anyway.

Or the adjudicator might not even notice the inconsistency.

In any case, the error shouldn't affect the ultimate approvability of your petition, and there's nothing to be done about it now. So relax as much as you can, and wait for an approval notice or an RFE. If you get an RFE, respond to it quickly and take comfort in the fact that, at least an RFE means they're looking at your paperwork.
