Hello everyone. Home sick today with head and stomach ache. Hope I feel better soon.

I did receive an email from the embassy today "The case is pending consular's final review."

From what I have read in preveious threads this is good!?

Hope you all are having a great day.

It won't be long now.

Hope you feel better , too! (F)

Don't just open your mouth and prove yourself a fool....put it in writing.

It gets harder the more you know. Because the more you find out, the uglier everything seems.

I think I've mentioned that we are trying to get Hicham home for the summer for a visit. It's been hard money wise but I think we can scrape enough together so just he will go. :(

BUT, he has to get a Visa to Morocco because he is Palestinian. The only place to get that done is in NY. He may have to FedEx his passport to them and he's very nervous about that.

This stuff just never ends...does it?

Isn't that something? It never ends, seriously. I am so worried that my husband will be denied entry. He has the stamp in his passport but his GC didn't come until after he left. The lady at our local immigration office said that it was good for re-entry and work for one year. Keep your fingers crossed for me Alli and I will do the same for Hicham. I hope he gets to go home and visit his family this year.

Happy Monday MENA (F)

Thanks Alli you are a doll :luv: and good luck w/ Hicham and the visa/passport issue. I'm sure everything will go fine. (F)

I'm home making calls and getting the house ready for visitors. My aunts are flying in to spend time w/ my Dad and I have hospice and a social worker coming tomorrow. It never ends. All I want to do is sleep....just sleep and then wake up and this will all be a bad dream.

Hope everyone has a wonderful day and rest of the week. Stay safe and blessed...(F)

Tasha - What day is he coming home exactly? I will DEFINITELY be thinking of you guys that day and hope that he has NO PROBLEMS. Is his POE JFK? Let me know he got home safely, if you can. Not like you'll be busy...or anything!!!!

Annie - I swear that I have thought about you throughout the day. Sending constant positive thoughts your way for you and your dad. All you can do is just to get through it. Just know that you are surrounded by alot of people thinking of you. (F)

Twilight alert: Book 4 is totally freakin me out. This is not for kids to read. It has a twist that I certainly didn't see coming. What did have me swooning over a 'romeo & juliet type' love story has me shaking and sick to my stomach.

Still a fan, but book 4 is disturbing.

I know what you mean about having to send the passport in the mail.

Ive had to send mine to NYC on about 4 different occasions. I use USPS Express mail-overnight guarentee and always track track track...I pay postage down and back so I can check it going down and coming back.

Goodluck!!

I totally love all the books, number 4 is hard, but it draws you in after awhile. Disturbing yes for a bit, but amazing none the less.

I'd be sooo nervous about him leaving after you just got him back!!!! It must be so hard though since his parents probably won't ever come here again. (and I don't blame them!!!) I just wish you all could go together just in case there's a problem, you know?

I'm bored. Usually we watch the Gilmore Girls after dinner since we dvr it but it wasn't on tonight. :( Hubby went to school in his scrubs today. LOVIN' da scrubs!!!:wub::wub:

Thanks Bridget. I am nervous about him going and coming back...for sure. He is just so homesick and I know that he really needs to see his family. Inshallah, things will go smoothly.

I must confess, I find men in scrubs to be oddly attractive as well.....
