We finally got our visa issued. I (beneficially) have posted quetsions everytime I was worried about something, and someone always gave me good advice. Thank you.

Here is what we have been through with my interview experience in Tokyo, Japan.

April2008- petition submitted

nothing for a while

June2008- found USCIS did not have our papers (lost?)

July 2008 - filed again

Aug 2008- NOA1

Nov 2008 - went to US to visit my man, nothing was asked at POE

Nov2008- finally NOA2

Dec2008 - package received

Jan 2009 - Medical exam, collected papers

Mar 2009 - Interview

I was overly nervous about the interview, but I will tell you...if you are not staging your marriage for your visa, there is nothing you should be worried about.

Employees at US embassy were very kind. My interview time was 8:30 am, but I got there at 8am. There were already 10-15 people in line.

A small paper with a number on it was given to me. I was called in 3 times. First time was to submit all the papers. Second was to take my finger prints, and

finally the interview. Questions at the interview were; how we met, how we have dated while long distance, what I did in the US when I had my student visa, my job

in US. I signed the paper to say that everything I said, written was true. After that, he said my visa would be issued in a week. It took about 2 hours total.

It was a long stressful process to get K-1 visa. It shows what people can bear for love.

I hope my experience helped

Thank you very much for all your advice and answers for my quetsions.

good luck
