OK Boo - the modern day economic inequalities between blacks and whites are due in large part to lingering inequalities resulting from the repressive policies of past governments.

So how long is this excuse going to fly?

10 years, 100 years, 1,000 years, 10,000 years

Its a general statement of the situation. Its not an excuse absolving individuals from responsibility for their actions.

In this country people have choices. Using historical events in 2009 to justify ones' actions is pathetic. Much like the person who burned two girls in the boot of a car had a choice.

I will make a bet here. Even though they are still investigating, I bet that the perpetrator was a minority. If they are not I will donate $1,000 to minority based charity.

How is that for generalizing? I will back my assumption with money.

According to the Internal Revenue Service, the 400 richest American households earned a total of $US138 billion, up from $US105 billion a year earlier. That's an average of $US345 million each, on which they paid a tax rate of just 16.6 per cent.

It seriously just kills me that you as a foreigner do not see or acknowledge the difference in culture here. That certain groups have not only been allowed to get away with anything but that their culture and attitude basically sucks.

I have friends from Africa and I work with a guy from Africa, they are top blokes and quite successful. Clean cut and sharp individuals. Yet when I drive in to DC or various other areas and get eyed down with a 'what what' look by someone wearing clothes eight times their size, listing to garbage music, loitering. What do you expect me to think? Yeah what an awesome culture. Not! Like most overseas I laugh at it.

And to think you once had a case where people fought for the right to go to school (Brown vs the board of education). Look at the scene played out now in so many low-socioeconomic communities throughout America. People like Jesse Jackson love these sorts of communities as they can feed them bullshit and continue to endorse that attitude and culture. For their benefit of course. Whereas they should be standing up and saying ####### are you guys doing. Don't blame someone else because you cannot be ###### getting an education and prefer to live they gangsta life.

It is all about culture mate.

Culture is part of it sure, but culture is an organic concept which is defined by a lot of other things.

Culture and attitude is everything. There is not one single thing keeping minorities back or down in America, apart from themselves. Being that even our President is African American, sorry but the overused excuses simply do not hold water anymore.

As a matter of fact apart from some backwards isolated individual, most people want to see minorities as functional members of society. Rather than gang bangers burning people up, terrorizing neighborhoods or innocent individuals. Unfortunately I cannot go force them to pick up a book rather than a gun. Write on paper rather than tag up a wall. Create artwork rather than damage public and private property. But what we can do is enforce the law and punish those who don't want to act civilized. Hence the incarceration rate.

"Culture" is defined by history and economics - among other things.

History is one of many aspects. There are lots of people who come to this nation with nothing yet make something for themselves. Who skimp so their kids can get an education. Whereas minorities in this country do not need to do that as they have access to numerous resources. Yes even the Hispanics. The means are there.

I just don't buy the historical rubbish / blame game anymore. What is clear is that there is a culture of pity and blame rather than one which asks what the hell are we doing with our lives. Some people clearly need to travel to the mother country and see first hand the opportunities, or lack of, that their distant brothers have there in comparison to that of their own here. I have asked fellow successful African Americans I know why the poor are the way they are and I quote, "to many, including some of my cousins, anyone who goes to school or is successful is just being white". So are you going to blame Caucasians and history for that attitude PD?

Attitude and awareness is probably why so many successful minorities who have traveled to the mother country and returned of course praise America for giving them what they now have. While they don't forget the past they can and have moved in. After all wasn't the I have a dream speech about integration. Clearly the white man has done his part and met half way, now it's time for those on the other side of the fence to hold up their part of the bargain and get their sh-t together. For example, get over this 'attitude' / 'culture' of someone is a snitch of they report criminal activity in their community.

Tangled mess? I think not, Danno has conclusively proved that blacks more stupid than anyone else, well, aside from gays, clearly gays are the most stupid and as for gay blacks? Well! It probably serves them all right anyway. Darwin up to his tricks - except does Danno believe in Darwinism? Conundrum.

Homos, not gays. ;)

So what are you going to do about it?

I cannot do anything about it. All I can do is help enforce the law. I cannot go into their minds and reprogram them. I can't go and get people to paint their communities walls with fresh paint rather than tag them up. The resources are there for them to use. Including a free education which you don't even get in Australia.

Besides, thanks to many from within the community who profiteer from these communities misery, like Jesse Jackson and drug dealers, even if I handed every person $500 to clean up their community I would be branded a racists. I can bet my life on it that someone would accuse me of something. Talking down to the black folk or something. Guarantee it.

PD I have a sharp eye. You think I don't notice that while libs spout out about equality and the same excuses you use not even 0.1% of them would live or do live in a ghetto. Let alone dress like or associate with those from a ghetto. Wasn't born yesterday mate.

If VJ is an indication of anything. Thanks but no thanks.

But anyway, as I said earlier. If the country was to have a once and for all battle of Rich/Middle class vs Poor. I am in. Maybe we need to beat morals and knowledge into the poor folks skull. Shove their drugs up their ####. If they don't want to acquire an education by choice will provide the lesson by force. ;)
