you don't want the medical too early because i think it is only good for a certain amount of time but i don't know what that is

the medical is only good for 3 months

hey is it true that it is only good for 3 months?

oh my gosh

please confirm this!

thank you

yes it is good for 3 months only. if you have sputum test, the result will only be good for 1 month. if your case was sent to manila already, you may go ahead and do the medical be sure you dont do it to early as you have to pay again if anything.

Your case left NVC on March 9, so the USEM should have it entered into their system at any moment now. It is now time to call them every day until you get your interview appointment.

Good luck!

\yes it is true. its just that when your on the information desk after filling up the forms, they will let you sign something that says, wanted to do medical without the appointment letter yet. it might be like a waiver since medical results expires after 3 months.

I just called right now and the call center representative told me that the case has just been uploaded on their system last March 16th but my case is still not eligible to be scheduled for an interview yet. I was just wondering why and when can I schedule my appointment. She shaid to wait until I recieve a notice of instructions. I really dont want to wait for the notice because i understand how long the post office here in manila takes. thats why i choose to call instead.

Does anyone knows how long do I have to wait from my case to be uploaded to the time I can set my interview date?

Hi thanks for the reply...we will call maybe tomorrow or on wednesday to make sure...We only want to have the earliest appointment as possible so i can catch the flight before the 29th of April to attend my future's mom bday..that's all. Actually we tried to expedite things when we filed for petition but it was denied..well the reason we had was obviously insufficient to ahsten the whole things up.

Thank you for reading :)

You have to have your MNL case number with you, if not, you have to get it from your file or call NVC and get it. they will not entertain you without that.

its 1-909-101-7878 (within the Philippines) to schedule an interview appointment at the U.S. Embassy. The cost of the 909 service is U.S. $0.98 per minute; this amount will be charged to your telephone bill. Applicants, Agents or Petitioners calling from within the United States will also be able to use this service by calling 1-888-877-9888. The cost of the 888 service from the United States is a U.S. $18 PIN payable using a Visa or MasterCard once you have called into the service.
