The senators office and the congressional office both say it has been sent to the NVC on March 6th.

This is really old now.

That is insane. Period!!

Ur approval should be right around the corner since as of March 1st, USCIS was processing I 130 from September 30th. Your time is very near Did you get ur congressman to push this for u since u are clearly out of the 6 month date range? Also try to put in an expedite. All of us in this thread who did that though we got denied, got our approvals 2 days after the expedite denial. Not sure if that had anything to do with it (maybe it helped that they went to check our file and realized we were past the processing time) or just sheer coincidence. But what have u got to lose at this point, right? U're waiting anyways!

Guys, NVC still hasn't received my packet from the USCIS??? I've spoke several different ops and they all say give it more time? Today I called back to the USCIS and ask if I could get a tracking number and was told they don't have that info? I was approved March 4th with others on this site and I do believe most if not all have their packets at NVC! What can I do? Any suggestions?

Jenn is in the same boat as you.

I suggest you guys involve your congressmen further. They will always come back the first time with the canned answer that NVC gives them. You have to keep on them, really.

write them back and state that USCIS already verified that the package was mailed on 3/6, and that no carrier would take 10 days. be politely persistent, thats the key

I would also be on the phone with a sup at the service center and ask what carrier they use for shipping to NVC, then see if you can track it.

Make sure they went to NVC and not another agency in error.

Okay, was finally able to get a hold of someone at NVC and got my CR1 case # then got this schpeal about allowing additional time, gave them for the mmph time my email and my so's email address...what the last rep didn't up date it or something?

so , I guess I wait until the bills are generated or file uploaded into system, etc..

let's see how long that takes.

Took 20 plus redials but through to NVC. Until they complete my case they are going to get two calls a day. Ugg, five minute plus wait.

I was approved after you and both files were recd by NVC the k3 already left for the embassy, and was just told the case number for CR1. and was even told at some point the file was in the building just not uploaded into system ( this was like last week when tehy could give me the case# yet.)

I really wonder what happened to yours? mmmmmmmmmmm

I got a NVC rep to admit that it takes less than 2 weeks to complete a case!!!!! She told me to call back soon!!!!

"We have everything and it takes 2-4 weeks but most of the time it takes less. Call back soon please." She went outside the script and I thank her for it.
