I got a 10 year visa in 2003, back then I think it was like $130. 2 weeks is ridiculous!!!!

check the Indian consulate website, to see if they will accept a Canadian passport at the consulate in NY.

This is for all waiting for the NVC to recieve their petition approvals. Its frustrating, but i wouldnt take it to heart if the CRS's are pissy. They have sooooo many ppl calling about their petitions, and if not there, there isnt much they can do about it. In all honesty, when they say "wait 90 days" its not just to get you off the phone. That is the standard wait time they tell you when waiting for petitions to come from the service centers. You could always call the service center and ask if they still have your petition. A thing to remember, all petitions are sent from the service centers to the NVC in bulk on FRIDAYS. So they only do it once a week. This was advised to me when i was waiting for my petition to reach the NVC. Just trying to give a ray of light on the NVC situation.

Lisa, thanks, yeah we are a team here who had wait then april 2008, a year now. I I hope now NVC schedule me an interview so I can move on. Good luck to your darlings interview too. Soon you guys are together too.

NVC is really tiring. AVR said March 20 that my file is completed at 19 th March. This weekend, they have send me a email where they want me to send the entire package DS230 including all original documents, this email is dated 18 th March and arrived to me at 22 th March.

This is the third RFE which is probably false again! Talk about a modern state administration. I need to call them tomorrow!
