Que, that was the first thing I did when I got to work this morning. I copied the approval letters and I faxed them to the senators office. Obviously there is no urgency for them. Ducumentum is down so I can't get any work done here at work today. I'm about to go and call my husband. If I call the senators office, he will just dodge my call... I should use another name so he takes my call.

Atleast your senator is responding, not as quickly as you would like, but responding. My congressman never responded to my faxes for him to look into my case. Its been 6 weeks since I sent him an email as well. It's kind of slow at work at the moment, so I just went to Duane reade to get pictures printed. I am trying to get the relationship proof package put together by the end of next week.

I really need to join you all on FB, too bad I can't access FB from work :(

At last, after all struggling with USPS and the false RFE has my file been complete at NVC. Earlier, I had a K3 interview February 19, but I thought that would quickly go through the NVC, but not.

Anyway, now I'm on the right track again, I know the embassy in Stockholm has few display cases, so I hope now NVC last step is fast, so I can get this Vis process over for this time.

Sorry Serendipity and Esposadetucho!! It definitely has to be frustrating.

Serendipity - It might be worth submitting the packet 3 to the Mumbai consulate, and before you pay any fees for the K-3, you can try and get your CR-1 case compelte at NVC. WaitHatter has had luck with getting the interviews flipped at the Mumbai consulate.

Hang in there everyone, and no jumping off of ledges!!!!

I cannot convert my interview, as 2 different consulate are involved Bombay & Montreal (Canada) DONT ASK!!! Had I know, what I know today...would definitely have done things differently.

Did you attend the K-3 interview?? Or did you have it rescheduled?

Also are you trying to do the CR-1 and the K-3 at the sametime?

Good morning familia :) I am feeling super stressed out from this whole process and can't wait to put it behind me for good! :bonk:

Good Morning everyone!!!

Here are the answers for some of the DS-230 questions posted last night: (This is how I responded to the DS-230 questions)

Question 14 - Spouses address - that should be the petitioners address, since it is the beneficiary who is filling out the form.

Question 20 - List addresses in reverse chronological order (most recent address first) and in the date range column make sure you write "Present" in the to column, otherwise you will get an RFE. The date range should looke like "1/1/1900 - Present" for the first location

Question 21a - The answer should be N/A, unless you will have someone coming with you to the US as a result of the visa application. The USC does not count in this case.

Question 21b - The answer should be N/A, unless you have someone related to you who will be immigrating to the US as a result of your immigration. (For example, your children)

Hope this helps!!

Thanks Q. I finally got the secretary to help me out finalize these forms. She was very nice about it. We did a phone conference. She did say they never got RFEs ever from NVC for DS 230, so I hope this will be the case for us. My RFE nightmares are starting to keep me wide awake  My sleep pattern has changed b/c of this process and it's starting to affect me.

P.S. The secratary said they never put Present for item 20 and never got an RFE. I will call NVC and get the answer from many operators.

Still No Papers at NVC...

Jen, I can only imagine what you must be feeling and how frustrating this is! I hope u get ur miracle soon!

Still no DS3032 & AOS Bill

My theory is the DS 3032 is what's causing the delay. According to VJ, most ppl like me and Candid who had lawyers got through NVC bill pay faster cz we skipped the whole DS 3032 step. But of course this new system merging in w/ the old one is definitely something we did not expect. I am still waiting to possibly hear that my bill is not technically paid eventhough on the online account it shows it is!!

Husbie called NVC few minutes ago. The operator told him that our packages HAVE BEEN REVIEWED.. And it would take few more days after that to make the case complete.. What does that mean?

They were done reviewing but not yet complete? I am confused..

Candid, it seems they are wrapping up ur file. I agree with Q. Funny you mentioned the thing abt nightmares, cz that is exactly what I told my husband. All i want to do right now is go to sleep and someone wake me up when this whole nightmare is over!!

Everyone else, waves and hope ur stress levels aren't shooting through the roof.

GS - Just go over the Ds-230 with a fine tooth comb before submitting it. Also make sure the info in the DS-230 matches what you had in the I-130, I129F, G-325A (For you and your husband), and your civil documents. A few people have gotten RFEs because the information didn't match across these forms.

No I never attend the K3 interview because the embassy told me when my CR case are finish at NVC they can give me an interview very fast,, And they was not interested to reschedule a new time for the K3 when my CR1 was in process at NVC... So now I really hope NVC work fast.

Last time when they scheduled my K3 interview it was 12 days after all paper was finish. I had done my medical already in Febr.

Have a nice weekend!

I told hubby last night maybe all the NVC BS is a sign that we should persue the K3

Bombay consulate are so helpful they get back to you with information right away.

I was trying to avoid taking time off work, getting a Visa for India and the additional cost of an air ticket to India...but NVC is making me reconsider.

I am eligible for a 10 GC that is why I wanted to stick to the IR1 process.

Oh well...pcaket 3 will be on it's way to Bombay on Monday unless miraculously our DS3032 gets generated over the weekend.

Thanks Q. We did, but still some loose ends attorney will be double checking on his end and I will be calling various NVC operators to make sure I get the same answers for Q. 20 since as of right now that is the big reason most ppl get RFEs.

Seren, my hubby was dead set against CR1 and when K3 got stuck in AP I told him rather than be upset let's take this a sign that maybe we should be following CR1 and he said let's just go with whichever gets to consulate fastest and so it was.
