I agree this whole process is STUPID & FLAWED & AGGRAVATING :ranting: :protest:

I just got off the phone with the CIS. I never received NOA2's for my (2) I-130's that have already been approved OR my I-129F which is also approved. It's been a month. I will need them ... I think at least the K3 NOA2 when I go to adjust Ksenia's status. Someone with some better insight, your input is appreciated.

And guess what the nice people at the CIS told me ... I want me to file (3) I-824 forms ... at $340 each ... in order to get a simple piece of paper saying our files were approved by the CSC.

I basically told them "#### you" ... and I'm not that kind of person. It's their damn fault they didn't mail my NOA2 papers, not mine, and I'm not about to pay $1020 for their collective screw up. I didn't move ... they have the correct address on file ... I never got the papers ... put it together people

I know your frustration Jen ... 110% now. It's friggin' paperwork people, not brain surgery. But because they screw up, we are the one's that suffer. We are the ones getting totally screwed and WE are the citizens of this 'great' country.

Sorry everybody ... I am MORE than a little ticked off right now ...

Can you sked a K3 interview and try flipping it to CR1? Is that possible in your consulate?

NO Impossible as K3 and IR1 interviews will be 2 different consulates on 2 different continents

Thank you ... but Jen really needs them now ... and Sarita ... I just want to get out of AP and according to most timelines, should be out of there in 3 weeks or so ...

BTW ... welcome to our little group. There are some really great people here, all going through different phases of all this immigration ####### ... and all deservedly should be with their mates RIGHT NOW !!!

As you can see, you can open up here with us. This process is such a roller coaster on the emotions so brace yourself. I know everyday I am so thankful for the support and help these ladies & Que have offered since coming here. We are all in this together and if you need anything or have any questions ... ask away

Yes, I must admit I'm just floored at how wonderful everyone has been. I have never met such a lovely group of people online!

Now I wonder in reading Y's habibtk little statement at the bottom of her posts, who she's referring to? I can't imagine anyone here would be so cruel as to tell us to stop whining! I know I sure would have whined if I had been here during my waiting phase! I will probably whine in the days to come to ha ha!

Oh and Steve, I just want to tell you, your pictures are absolutely beautiful! You two make a beautiful couple!

Guess what guys? Something told me to check our online account to see if the bill was reflected as paid and IT WAS!! WOW I can't believe how fast things start moving with the new NVC online system. I am loving it!! I love being able to check the account online. Now we wait for hubby to mail us the required docs and for the lawyer to get the packet ready to send. I hope he moves fast and doesn't ask me to be patient!!! cz then I won't be too happy abt it I am hoping all of our docs will be mailed out to NVC by next Friday! I am giving myself a week to get everything out. Let's see if it works.......

On that note, Seren, it is very possible your case can be completed first week of April since things seem to be moving super fast once the bill is generated as they are now emailing them in duplicates!! I am so excited about this new email system. It used to be it took weeks to process things when they did things via regular mail. Imagine how much time we get to save! You are next! Sit tight!! It's coming!

GS, question when did your file get completed at NVC? and how long did it take to generate the bills for you?

Qestion for the guru, Que, if I pay the I-864 bill say next week and have not done my taxes for this year do I need to include them, or are they not needed since teh `deadline for taxes isn`'t until next month, how does that work`````?

If you pay the I-864 bill next week and submit the AOS package before april 15th you don't need to submit this years tax returns. However if you are submitting the AOS package after April 15th you will likely be asked for it if you don't submit it.

NVC update

I called NVC and told them I don't care about their green process as it is not working for me and I want to receive everything in the mail, that's when the rep told me that their system is having problems generating an email out to me and now it has been transferred to a supervisor so that they can manually generate an email.

Now I am at the mercy of some idiot

All that has happened in last couple of days (Jenn's paper work not showing up, my Request for LESS evidence, Steve's missing NO2) confirms my desire never marry another person from farther away than 60 miles. If my husband died (knock on wood) I would never get into a relationship with another non-American.

If all of us weren't head over heels in love with our husband/wife, we would never put up with this paperwork mishandling, waiting #######.

And back to your normal programing....
