I just typed this really long reply and when I went to post it.... POOOF !! gone !!

so I'll just join in the hug for now cuz i am about to throw the computer across the room.

Same thing happened to me on my earlier post. It's so freaking annoying how the page just jumps away on its own!! Actually that is how I found my hubby on FB after 14 yrs. I got an email from a mutual friend of ours and my computer opened up her FB page by mistake (I did not intend to) and what do I see on her page? Said girl and hubby are now friends!!! I was like no way!! I was just mentioning him to my niece the night before and wondering where he was and if he ever got married! And he never did :) How lucky for me! So that was the one time I didn't hate my computer lol But I can soooooo relate  Since this process has started many a times I felt that way ;)

Hello

I just found this website and I thought this would be a great place to start. I just got the approval notices for our i130 and i129 petitions via email. I am waiting to recieve the letters in the mail. To tell the truth, I haven't really prepared myself for this whole thing and I'm doing it alone! Your help is greatly appreciated!

Welcome and good luck! Since you were newly approved, the next step is NVC. Number to call is (603) 334-0700. Give it a few days and you can start calling to find out if they assigned you case numbers. We can guide you from there :)

gS, I KNOW AIN'T IT CUTE....

HUGS ALL AROUND!!! hey I just called NVC and a real nice rep told me that my file was entered processing into system completed today. she said I should get an email with info to follow real soon.

What does that mean?

that they will generate the bills? hopefully? please explain.

thanks,

;)

Mayra - I Called NVC yesterday and they advised me processing on my file was completed 03/16/09 and now I am in the queue waiting for an email to be generated.... no lucky email yet! Hopefully sometime later today

Lisa: I all for jumping off a ledge right now :P

Jen: Any word from NVc have you called today?

GS /Queue - How are things with you?

008.gif

Yeah Mayra, your bill should be coming up soon!

Seren, my email from NVC didn't come until 10:00 p.m. that day. BTW, thanks for the shoutout. I love the big huggable bearrrrrrr. So cuteeeeeeee :luv: Where are u guys finding these adorable flags, glitters and huge smileys? I only have sweetim downloaded and it's very limited. Any other good ones out there?

Lis, when u mentioned that ledge I immediately thought oh no, jumping off a ledge??? lol :P Then realized wt u actually meant!

"you fondle my trigger then you blame my gun"

Timeline: 13 month long journey from filing to visa in hand

If you were lucky and got an approval and reunion with your loved one rather quickly; Please refrain from telling people who waited 6+ months just to get out of a service center to "chill out" or to "stop whining" It's insensitive, and unecessary. Once you walk a mile in their shoes you will understand and be heard.

Thanks!

 Lisa, u crack me up! Thanks for always brightening up my day with ur comments, u funny girl :P I am telling u if I knew u in real life u would definitely be a person who falls in the BFF category I just love ur personality and feel it matches mine :luv: !

Yeah, when I found him I was so close to giving up on love and relationships. We always talk about turning our crazy story into a book and then a movie. I definitely am the fairytale type of person and was always disappointed that my life was nothing like a fairtytale until I found him again :luv: I tell my hubby maybe we tell the CO that we intend to make a movie out of our story one day, therefore he should give him the visa right away so we can mention the amazing CO who helped bring us together in our movie and make him or her famous lol :P

Oh how wonderful! Did you all know each other from this website? I'm in NY! Got room for 2 more? Ha ha!

Speaking of fairytales...Well I have a rather funny story esposadetucho. I guess if it's romantic or not is upto the reader ha ha!

After I made my last tuition payment for my daughter and saw her graduated and one her own, I decided that it was time to do something nice for myself. I practically raised that child alone and sacrificed my time and money trying to be a good mom. So I went to a travel agent and told her I wanted something exotic and adventurous. I took a look around at some brochures and I saw a 12 day trip to Morocco! So said, "Why not?" I joined this tour group and had the time of my life! I was in Marrakesh doing some shopping for souvenirs. I got to my husband's shop and looked around. I didn't think anything until I went to pay. Here's this gorgeous young eye candy telling me, "No money madam...what is your name?" Let me tell you I was dumbstruck ha ha! I don't hear that too often at my age... Finally he haggled me for my phone number or email address as payment for the small mini tagine I wanted to buy! So I finally caved in and gave him my email address and phone number. I figured if he was some crazy psycho I would just change the number and delete my email! But what do you know? He won! He took my heart...

Awwwwww that is very cool story .

We have formed a really nice virtual family here. Everyone is so nice and very helpful. We support each other through every step of the way... We have all hit different obstacles along the way. But we are all here for the same reason. Everyone is really great on this thread. When is the last time you saw your husband?

CNT, funny how life turns out sometimes and how things happen when u least expect them. For me I knew I was the love of his life from everyone in our hometown, but never did it cross my mind he spent every summer waiting and wishing for me to come back!! Last time I was there, 10 yrs ago, he followed me to tell me he loved me but I was not ready to be with him at the time as I was still in college. Now look where we are!! Crazyyyyyyyyyy, but coolllllllll :) Now I am a strong believer in everything happens for a reason. Someone once said, everything that happens to you even your most negative experiences have a positive lesson you can derive from them and u learn as u go and grow as a person. I can say this is definitely the case with me and my hubby :luv:

Jen, glad to hear there is some progress. At least someone is requesting more information. Nagging seems to have paid off yet again. But I wouldn't call it nagging actually as this is our right and I totally agree with your comments about our virtual family........Don't make me say it but u know it's coming..........Time for a............

Now that's a movie Cnt :)

This group is a lively bunch....now we have our grumpy days, but for the most part we have FUN
