I climbed out of tax hell today...thank god, and im back to planning my trip to India. Can't wait to see my wife's face when I show up in India. I will have to call my father-in-law and tell him im coming, since her parents are worried about her coming to the US alone.

Timeline: 13 month long journey from filing to visa in hand

If you were lucky and got an approval and reunion with your loved one rather quickly; Please refrain from telling people who waited 6+ months just to get out of a service center to "chill out" or to "stop whining" It's insensitive,and unecessary. Once you walk a mile in their shoes you will understand and be heard.

Quick hug and run for me too!

Finally got the AOS/IV bills paid around 4 p.m. :) One less thing to worry about. I can go to sleep with a peaceful mind for a change until the madness of getting all the docs in and waiting for case review begins. Hubby and I spent all afternoon reviewing all docs and everything we need. Our bill should show paid in the NVC system in 3 days so I am assuming come Monday we should be able to send the docs in. But I am sure it will be delayed cz my lawyer will take longer than us to get things done!! I will be happy if everything is at NVC by EOM and there are no RFEs....still hoping to land that May interview.

Seren, I PM'ed u :thumbs: . Hope u got it.

I am going to bed early tonite since I didn't get to sleep till 2:00 a.m. last nite from that last minute excitement.

Hope you get some good news...coming upto Lucky Thursday. I haven't called NVC since this morning...can't take anymore disappointment. :(

Good Luck with Packing.....I dread the thought for when it will be my time. It's like packing up your life !
