Hi,

Seems like there should be a post on this already. If so, I apologize for the repeat.

I already submitted the I-129F petition and now I am getting ready to mail a copy of it to my fiancee. According to the guide, I should also:

2. Send all originals of the documentary proof that you submitted for the I-129F to your fiance(e) for their interview at the embassy.

Is there any elaboration on this. Much of the evidence are simply printouts and such of emails, Skype phone bills, etc, so I can just have her printout those out on her end. I guess this means that I should mail her photographs (though again there digital, so she could have them printed); new letter of intent to marry her; flight boarding passes; and other original evidence I have. Probably, the best evidence are the visa stamps in my passport, but I can't send her the original of that (obviously).

Is there something I missing? Hopefully, originals won't get lost in the mail. I'm a little skeptical on post to China.

Thanks.

The major reason for sending your fiancé a copy of the petition (and items sent with it) is for him/her to review; so he/she will be familiar with what was sent. In essence, you certain are free to have him/her print these items on their end.

You will need to send any original evidence items - per the Guides checklist to have on hand for the interview.

If it were me, I wish they would eliminate that item from the guides

YMMV

The most important thing for the interview is to have LOTS of evidence that you guys have a ongoing bonafide relationship. You already will have proved you met within the last 2 years with the original petition.

K1 denied, K3/K4, CR-1/CR-2, AOS, ROC, Adoption, US citizenship and dual citizenship

!! ALL PAU!
