I know the season is upon us. And last year there was a thread about fleas. and in that thread someone sent me a link for getting Frontline thru a place in Austrailia. Well when my computer crashed i lost all the info. If you are out there, would u please let me know what that link is. it was the cheapest place for me to get Frontline!

Biospot is a LOT cheaper. I used it on my 2 black labs for years.

I just picked up Frontline on friday. Wow, i was surprised at the cost, $60 for 4 months. Seeing as we had been dog free for 3yrs, until 6 weeks ago when we got our rescue doggie

I have been buying it a Petsmart- It is pricey but worth it. If I can start finding it elsewhere for cheaper- that would be great.

We didn't have to deal with fleas back home in Alberta so this is kinda new to me.

I had a flea problem a few years ago that would not stop!

My dogs are outside only and no matter how much I got them off the dog, they came right back.

I tried every over the counter product with no success.

After reading up on the subject, here is what I recall. There are two basic type of treatment, one kills the fleas the other does not kill a single flea but what it does is this;

every flea that bites the dog becomes sterile, (unable to reproduce). This product is called "Program" and worked very well.

I had already killed lots of fleas and new ones just kept coming so thats why I choose "Program"

and as I said my dogs are outside, which made it impossible to control the environment.

I think I bought a 6 month supply but only use it for a month or two as the problem was gone and the flea season was past. (I see no reason to treat a dog for fleas year round, though the folks at FRONT LINE and PROGRAM would luv for you to).

I bought it online at provet.com or something like that.

I bought it from Amazon.com for both my dog and cat. It was reasonable.
