i may need a co-sponsor because i just divorced and went back to work recently (at the end of 2008). all of my financial history is tied to my ex - all of my bank accounts, my tax returns, everything. i only had income for dec of 2008, and of course i continue to work now. my mother offered to be the co-sponsor, but i was told that no one over the age of 55 can be a co-sponsor. are there age limits? if so, what are they?

Whomever told you this is very incorrect.

p.s.,

Is your income potential (based on your rate of pay) sufficient to meet the minimum qualifications? (You can use pay stubs to show your earnings potential and may not require a co-sponsor)
