Hello:

I am a USC who filed an I-130 for my wife and her 2 children aged 4 and 8. We expect an interview late this year and want to be prepared for everything. When they go for their medical exam - what documentation will we need for the children ??? My wife has lost the vaccination and medical records for the kids and she does not remember who did all the vaccinations. Do they need the vaccination records for the kids ??? If we cannot find the records then what do we do ???

Thank you.

Best if you have mom and the kids get a premedical for TB. That way if there are any problems you can take care of them prior to the St. Lukes medical and not lose time for things like a sputum test.

Next as soon as you have the NOA2 approval notice have them take the St. Lukes medical. Few people have past vaccination records. The panel physician at St. Lukes will determine what vaccines they will need.

No problem Hoot. I did the same thing and it turned out my stepdaughter had PC Primary complex] for TB. We had it cured long before the SLEC medical and didn't have any delays.

I had my wife just go to their local doctor. Also had them do as much dental work there as it's WAY cheaper there. My wife had a root canal there . Cost was $50 there. She recently had one here $600 Ouch.

Get the kids on flouride also.

I also had my wife do the MMR and Hepa B vaccination series as it's cheaper there also. They've added some additional one required since then. HPV and others.

Hoot!

Stick with the I-130s [CR-1/CR-2]. Hopefully you filed separate I-130s for your wife and kids?

Forget about K3/K4s! I blew it and went with K3/ K4. BIG mistake. I'm still kicking myself in the butte for doing so.

Also if you aren't already. Use Lingches NVC shortcuts!
