Oh, the stuff I do for my wife, hundreds of different brands, learning the true value, lots of sellers were saying this $3,000 machine is 2000 bucks off to make a sale, when in fact the MSRP is only 800 bucks. Then claiming a 3 continuous horse power motor can operate off a 117 VAC standard 15 ampere outlet using a 16 AWG line cord. Somehow, that just doesn't add up. But as typical, found the best deal in town where I can pound the ####### out of the seller if anything goes wrong.

Don't even ask me how I got a 220 pound box in my car and managed to carry it in the house, but sure I must have burnt at least two calories. Then you can slap it together in five minutes, took me more like five hours and after it was slapped together, ended up taking it apart again to perfectly align the belts, it was way off. Wife insisted on going back to the dealer because at 12 mph, this thing was shaking the house apart, they all do that, and we ran the same test on a dozen different machine. Got home took out my gauges, checked the TIR on the motor and rollers, and also added grease to the bearings, damn Chinese never add enough grease from experience. Yeah, assembled in the USA with imported parts is all you get today. But the basic drive mechanism was of good quality, just took precision adjustments. Wife says, I am wonderful, but she sure had her doubts.

Then where to put the darn thing so it's used, she has her sitting room that nobody uses, the theater room is considered to be my room, LOL, so that is where it ended up, but had to move all the furniture around, that burned two more calories. It is running fine now and practically vibration free.

So the next question is how many calories do you have to burn to lose a pound, she only has about five pounds to lose, so just looked that up.

Roughly 3,500 per pound.

I noticed the calorie counter still works with observation, intend on lying on the couch with the machine running nice and quiet while watching a movie, watching those calories disappear off of me.

Man you do want to keep her happy. :D

My esposa has been doing DVD Pilates and Zumba dancing in the LR. Matter of fact... *Peeks over there now* She's doing Zumba now. In one month of regular use, she's lost the winter weight and is going on getting that bikini belly. *HAL 9000 will move himself over to the LR at this point.*

Total cost: $10 for the Pilates DVDs. $5 for the Zumba DVDs brough over from Colombia.

Wishing you ten-fold that which you wish upon all others.

At least our wives are concerned about bikini time. Wife said I can buy anything I want for exercise, just a new hammer and a shovel, like to get something accomplished in the process.

Yeah, those Latin American women can sure shake their butts.
