I'm sorry, Jen. You didn't deserve that. Don't kick yourself for being foolish. You have a good heart and, unfortunately, some people in this world will take advantage of that. I would far rather have a good heart and risk being hurt than a bad heart and use it to hurt others. Once you are feeling stronger, it may help to use this experience as a tool to help others. Is there some government body you could report your husband to? It may be a good idea to have this information on file somewhere... both for yourself and for any possible future outcomes. Are you certain there's nothing that can be done??? Surely if he obtained the GC illegally, there should be some revocation process.

I don't have any answers for you, but I am sorry to hear of your predicament.

Any GC can be revoked, if the Service has evidence to show that the alien gained it through fraudulent means. The issue is providing USCIS with sufficient evidence.

I can't offer any advice about this but you have my support. I am so very very sorry this has happened to you. You have no reason at all to feel foolish so please don't.

I have the worst time wrapping my mind around how people can do things like this and continue to live with themselves. There's nothing wrong with aspiring and working to better your life, but not at the expense of others lives and love.

About the Karma thing, it's one thing I like about the wiccan belief system, what you send out comes back to you threefold be it good or evil. What a great way to deter one from intentionally causing harm, who would want to personally subject themselves to 3 times whatever harm or pain they might inflict on another. Self preservation

I am sorry to hear about this. If I were you I would just try to put him out of your life as soon as possible on move on. You probably won't get better soon, but you won't get better at all until you have nothing to do with him.
