I just happened to see this and when I saw it was you I was so surprised. Jen I am truly sorry for what Amir has done to you and your marriage. I have always kept you in my thoughts and the last thing I knew was that you had left for Egypt for awhile. You are still a member of our group and I kept hoping to hear something. This is not what I was hoping to hear. You are experiencing what none of us hopes to go through and what I will admit, I had feared at times could happen to us. Abdou and I were married 1 year on the 23rd and all seems to be fine and we are both happy. Now I wonder who can play this game. I will readily admit I hope this doesn't happen to me but I do hate it has happened to you. You know how to reach me. Jen, in my country we have a saying that goes "you are grabbing the bull by the horns".... that is said when someone bravely confronts a problem and actually DOES something about it... I think it's totally applicable to your great attitude and your strenghth.... although I don't know if there's an equivalent in English LOL... is there?

His name is Mohamed Abdalla Abd El Samie Youssef, (aka AMIR), from Helwan (15 May City), Cairo, Egypt. He is currently residing in Las Vegas, NV ..... working as a cook in a large hotel. He is redheaded, fair, hazel eyes, 5'8", 160#. If anyone knows him or his family or anyone about to be involved with him, be warned that he is NOT a "man" of good character.

Hmm. Interesting how information is perceived differently. I don't read any bitterness in the information, at all. And coupled with what I said above, if a statement that is made is absent of malice and factually true, there should be no issue. The doctrine of absolute or substantial truth affecting libel or slander is the most solid defense. A statement cannot be held as slanderous or libellous if it is true; the substantial truth doctrine extends this protection by holding that a statement even with "slight inaccuracies" do not contort the truth sufficiently to make an alleged libel now false.
