I have two question that maybe someone can answer.

1. When my passport expires, will I have to go to the Swedish embassy in Washington D.C. to get a new one?

2. My VISA card from the bank Nordea expires in February next year. Will I automatically get a new one sent to me here in the US, or do I have to contact my bank? I still have money in my Swedish account and I would like to have access to it...

1, det finns en ambulerande pass station som aker runt varje ar, kolla pa ambassadens hemsida var den dyker upp. Har ocksa for mig att du kan fornya pa konsulaten. Men aven den infon finns pa deras hemsida.

2 jag fick mitt nya visa automatiskt hit till min adress har I usa. Har iof swedbank...

I have my interview soon, and I'm wondering if I, as the beneficiary, have to provide bank statements and paychecks too?

Also, the I-797 has expired, and I read that my fiancee can sign, scan and send a letter to the Stockholm embassy to extend. It's just 2 days over.

I will probably have aaaalooot of questions, but first one is, the medical examination, how much can that cost?

When I had my medical examination in Stockholm in September 2012 (about a year ago actually), the costs were as follows:

Doctor's appointment (läkarbesök): 1700 SEK

Blood sample (blodprovstagning): 600 SEK

Lungs x-ray (lungröntgen): 500 SEK

It's been a year, so maybe the prices have changes. Also, I do now know if the costs are the same if you have you medical in Gothenburg or Malmö.

We officially mailed our application yesterday, express mail of course, haha !!! I'm so excited, and i can't wait to put more dates on my/our timeline ...I've read about people getting approval in like 58 days!! I know that is very unusual, but i hope we don't have to wait too long. This waiting time is killing me. I have been without my fiance for only a month now, but it feels like an eternity !

301 days went by between when we sent in our application and my the interview at the embassy. So don't expect the wait to be short and quick.

I got a job. Working at Target. I've only just started (orientation plus two shifts) but I like it so far.

Now I have a question. Do I have to pay taxes in Sweden too? If so, how does that work?

I'm taking it in Malmö aswell as I live here. Wow, i thought exray and blood test would be included! USA sure know how to get paid, they probably get half of it! Lol, thanks for your answer
