So... since this came up just recently.. To those of you who have AOS'd.. did any of you need to fill out the i-693.. ik what the guides say and everything, just looking for your experiences... Also.. those of you that got a copy of your medical recently in Stockholm.. was the medical complete box ticked?

You only need this if your medical is expired, I just attached a copy of the vaccination records for my AOS.

Hello everyone. It's me again. Just wondering how long will it take for the visa to get to my fiancé.

09/29 - Interview (AP pending Medical results)

09/29 - CEAC status AP

10/03 - CEAC status Issued

How long will it take to get the visa after it was issued.

Also, since we are a same sex couple. When we do get married, we are not planning on taking each other's last name, will this be a problem when we file AOS?

Hi and contrats on your approval!! I don't believe it will cause any problems.. all names are stated in the Marriage Certificate, which is the legal document showing you are married. Good Luck!

She should have it within a few days to a week.

I didn't change my name either, actually it just makes everything easier (don't have to go around changing my name on passport, SSN cards etc). It's quite common now, no issues.

If it isn't difficult, it isn't worth it.

Yea, this is what I was told... There's just ppl saying otherwise..and that they got RFE for not having the i-693... so I'm just collecting data and asking you guys :) thank u for your answer..

She got a notice from the post office yesterday that she needs to pick up something. She wasn't expecting anything other than her passport, so hopefully it's her visa.

Swedes gets it pretty fast.. few days from issued

Yes, my interview was September 29th. Changed on September 30th. That was the last change and all it says is "ready" and to check back after 2 business days, which has passed and nothing changed.
