Her interview went well. But she was the last one who got interviewed. She got there around 7:45 am and had to wait outside until 9 am. She didn't get out of the embassy until 11 am.

She said she's approved and they took her passport. However she got a 221g because the embassy didn't receive her medical exam result which she did go 2 weeks ago.

Once they get it, then you'll be good; however, I do suggest following up with the Medical Dr's office to confirm that they have indeed sent the medical to the embassy and when they sent it.

We had that happen to us and we had to hound the Medical Dr's office to get ours sent because they hadn't sent it and we had done the medical a month before our interview.

Indeed, everything differs from country to country and embassy to embassy. Make sure to get your bloodwork done (at Ullevall sykehus if you can, I did it at my local doctor and they made a fine mess of the process because sensing it to a different lab then they usually did was outaide their system and hence close to impossible) and the X-ray at Unilabs Majorstuen before the medical.

And remember that your visa will only be valid for six months counting from the day of the medical.

I actually had my serological test taken at Ullevål sykehus a couple of days ago. I have my X-ray appointment next week. I'm happy I live in Oslo so I don't have to travel across the country for some medical appointments!

Sounds like she was maybe standing in the wrong line outside?

If it isn't difficult, it isn't worth it.

Congratulations on approvals :D I had the same thing happen with the medical... If you were at Sibyllekliniken do email them... (since you can't call anyways hahaha), probably they'll send it any day or already have, but for me there had been a misunderstanding and the doc was waiting to send it until he had a paper from me... I SWEAR he did NOT say that.. He said, "this is nothing that will influende the visa" ugh... but if nothing is out of the ordinary it should be there soon... they batch send.. good luck :D

I have booked a ticket, will be flying to Dallas on the 19th... and yesterday sold my car... all I have left to get rid of is TV and bed, some stuff to drop off at my moms and a few things to charity...and I'm alllll done! I'm getting so nervous and exited :goofy::luv:
