THANK YOU! Wow...i know there is A LOT of process left...but still... what a HUGE SIGH of relief that it is on it's way! Once in my hand..I'm booking that ticket and there will be an ACTUAL date for when we will be together :) and not just meet and say tearful good byes anymore ...

Yes there might be a lot of process left (AOS) BUT I will say it just totally different because you are together with your husband and all the stress about leaving your country and getting all the boxes and so on are not there :)

Thank you Lina...I KNOW! Been thinking about you Lina :) you will do great. I can tell you that the CO I talked to was so so nice... it was just sort of like a conversation... If he asked me something and I gave an answer, he'd say smth like "oh, yes I get that, and how did you guys meet?" It was very calming :)

The lady that took the papers..also rly friendly.. So just go there with that in mind :) Oh and show up early so you don't need to wait in line.. 0740-0745 or so and you'll be standing by a sign slightly to the side in front of the glass booth where u will see the much longer non-immigrant visa line. You'll be called ahead of that line, have your passport out. They will ask you to hold it up to the window outside of the booth where the security guards are. They will check your name on the appointment list, have you turn around and show the officer both soles of your shoes...then they will ask u to come inside. You'll hand over ur phone and get a ticket for it and they'll check your bag if u have one... then u go inside following the yellow line.. :) I'm sure u've read the reviews just thought I'd repeat, it helped me to visualize the whole thing first :) much luck

I'm sure it's been asked before but I have no idea how to search this thread.. how long does it usually take for the visa to arrive? Was thinking if there's any way I can plan for this so I can ask to be free from work that day.

Thanks you both! Yeah I've got that impression as well, that the interview is the easiest part and that the interviewer is really nice so that's a bit comforting. I'm still nervous though :P I mean it's my future they are deciding on...

I'm a time pessimist when it comes to super important meetings so I'll probably end up being there at 7... I was like 2 hours early to my medical, they managed to squeeze me in though because of a no-show (THANK YOU RANDOM NO SHOW-ER <3).... But yeah I'm gonna keep myself as occupied as possible tomorrow with printing out more evidence and all the other papers so that I don't have time to freak out about it :P
