I emailed them and they told me to contact NVC(?)

But our case isnt at the NVC anymore, its at the consulate in Stockholm and has been since last Tuesday. Im so confused.

Im gonna email NVC anyways and see what they have to say...

Did they understand what you meant? I emailed them before I got my checklist and they sid they did not yet have my case. Even though it's there at the embassy it doesn't mean they have entered the case in their system. Did the NVC have your email so that it's entered in the file? Answer them and say that it says on ceac website that your case it at the Stockholm embassy but that you haven't gotten the checklist yet (i don't know what you did say :P) pm me if there is any problem :) and don't worry! I know that you just want it to go faster(!!) but everything will be fine! and soon you will be moving on :)

Yes I told them about ceac saying it was "Ready" and that according to ceac the consulate had received it last Tuesday but I havent received packet 3 and I was wondering when I was gonna get it (and giving them my case number), then called the embassy which directed me to travel docs costumer service, I called the costumer service and they said they couldnt give me any info but they had seen my email and was re-directing it to the consultant which handles those type of cases... Thats when I got the email saying I should contact NVC... I emailed again explaining again and said that my case has already been received by the consulate and that according to NVC its the consulates job to contact me with Packet 3... They should have my email because when we first sent in the i-129F we also sent in both of our Letter of intent and I wrote my email on mine... Other than that I submitted the DS-160 as soon as we got the case nr which also has my email on it...

I dont know if its just them being slow or if something went wrong somewhere and Im not getting any answers :/ I also emailed NVC explaining that I was advised to contact them by the Consulates costumer service about the packet 3... Still no answer from both NVC or the second email.

My fiance hasnt received any emails about it either... He just received the hard copy letter from NVC yesterday.

Too late to edit my post, I did not say the ceac stated ready in the first email, I just said that the consulate had received my case 2/8, it was when I called them that i explained that ceac said it was "Ready". Maybe I wasnt being clear enough in the email...

I waited about 10 days before they sent me the checklist via email. Give it a few days. You should be able to receive it.

Sorry to divert to a different topic. Just a little confused.

Someone in the forum mentioned that the I-134 Affidavit of Support will be sent to my fiance and she takes it with her to the interview.

But I've read on the TraveState Website regarding the 6 steps to take. That I need to email the documents to this address nvcelectronic@state.gov

Correct you send it to her with the supporting documents and she takes it with her to her interview.

Look at page 220 in this thread you'll see how the checklist looks like

Thank you for your response. I did receive the check list from the embassy. However, my question was, do I need to send the Affidavit of Support docs to the email address that I read from the Travel.state website - https://travel.state.gov/content/visas/en/immigrate/immigrant-process/documents/Submit_documents.html

That's where the confusion started. So I don't know if I need to email it to them however, I did forward the originals and signed copy to my fiance.

If you send her the originals then you don't need to do more :)

You should not go by what the US Department of State says. Every embassy handles the K1 and CR1 differently and you should follow the instructions given to you by the Swedish embassy. If you haven't received it yet, be patient and wait for it before (don't take this in a mean way) you do something you're not supposed to do.

You should NOT email NVC anything. You will get a list of things that needs to be brought to the interview. Nothing will be sent to either NVC or the embassy.
