Hello everyone!

Quick question:

My fiancé is about to turn in her Packet 3. However she's having a hard time paying online so she printed out the necessary info and will pay in the bank.

When she went to the bank, they close at 1. So now here lies the problem, she's going on a trip on August 4 and the paper work she printed out says that it will expire on August 4.

Is there a way for me to pay it here in Guam or what will happen if she will just let it expire and will pay it when she gets back in August 9

Did she try using card payment? It's really the easiest way to do it. Just make sure it's a debit card and that it's open for online and abroad payments.

If it isn't difficult, it isn't worth it.

She said she did use her debit card but for some reason it didn't go through. So she has to go to a bank in Sollentuna.

So what would happen it she lets it expire and pays it after the 4th?

I'm sorry I have no idea about the answer to your actual question, try e-mailing the embassy - they'll let her know.

As for the debit card - did she check that it was authorised for use abroad? The online payment central is for some reason registered in the UK. She could also try to do the bank transfer using her online bank services - then she don't need to worry about making it to the bank during their opening hours. Follow the instructions here: http://www.ustraveldocs.com/se/se-niv-paymentinfo.asp#InstructionstoPayYourVisafee

So she paid at the bank and she mentioned that she needs a confirmation number but the cashier didn't give her any. She will have to wait for it via email and once she has that, she will need to sign back in to the account with her CGI number. Does she need the confirmation number before it expiration date? The online banking transfer deposit shows it will expire August 4.

If she has not received the confirmation number by August 4 but she is sure the payment came through she should contact the embassy. I had to do this because I never recieved the number. They confirmed they had received the money and they granted me access to their interview scheduling system.

Payment with card is probably the easiest, you could've given her your card number if her card didn't work. My fiancé does that for me and it seems to work fine for both visa fee, hotels and such.

Anyway, I hope the payment went well. :goofy:

Okay it's been over a year since I scheduled my interview but isn't the CGI number the one she needs to schedule her interview? Has she tried to get into the scheduling visa page? She should email them at support-Sweden@ustraveldocs.com. Or she can call +46(0)844683555 or you can call +17035202566

It should only have taken I think 2 days for her to get the confirmation email. If it's been longer than that, don't wait until August 4. Contact them.

Thank you so much for the email and phone numbers. I emailed them and they responded that our application is ready to schedule. I did call the number you provided and they said that the CGI number was her confirmation number.

I logged in to her traveldocs account and scheduled the latest appointment. I can just reschedule that right? if she won't get her NBI clearance in time.

Again, I am thankful for this forum. I don't know what would have I don't if it weren't for you guys.

It's going fast now! :D

No you have no use for the invoice number, that must be for other visas.

You pay the fee here: http://www.ustraveldocs.com/se

I followed the instructions and got re-directed to cgifederal. One of the questions asked were if I had recieved was: Have you received a K-1 checklist from Immigrant Visa Unit?

Which checklist are they referring to?

The checklist you get from the embassy. It also says that if you schedule an appointment before being told to do so the appointment will be cancelled. So basically, they want you to wait for the checklist (where it tells you what to do and how to do it), either you or your fiancé get it by email.
