Thanks for the quick response!!!! Yeah I was really confused since you need the case nr and you get that from the NVC.

Yeah I'm really relieved now :P I told him to send me a copy of it asap. I read somewhere that you need to bring it to the interview?

It's not on the checklist so I'm not sure about that tbh. However, after you've filled out the DS-160 it says (on the confirmation page) "You must bring the confirmation page and the following document(s ) with you at all steps during the application process: Passport & Evidence of approved i-129f."

I will have my fiancé send me a copy of the NOA2 as well, and the tax papers, a new letter of intent (since it was ages ago since we filed the i-129f), the receipt for the ring and obviously the i-134 form. I'm the kind of person who'd rather have way too much stuff with me to "be on the safe side", even if it's unnecessary. :D

The DS-160 doesn't require any payment, if I were you I'd fill it in now so you have it ready to submit when your case reaches the embassy (or like me, I submitted mine today and my case is still "in transit"). It takes a while to fill it out and you can go back to it anytime you want. Go for it :goofy:

Our case left NVC yesterday. It says "Ready" now, it only said "in transit" for a day. :o

On the DS-160 question about "National Identification Number", do I put my complete personal number plus the 4 last digits?

To answer my own question, yes hahaha sorry for being so slow, I got the answer from Scandia in personal inbox :)

No, the NOA2 is not needed at the interview.

Yes because you need to pay the fee first anyway. You won't even get to their schedule before paying.

I apologize for the off topic, however, my fiancée is in the process of getting her Personbevis but don't know what to put under the reason of getting one. Although she already has her personal ID and she insisted that's her Personbevis, but I told her it's not. Anyway, she will just go ahead and apply online, but don't know what to put under the reason as there's no "immigration or travelling to US" option.

Thank you so much for your time

She need to get the "120 Personbevis" in english. It´s faster and easier to just go to her local tax agency office and ask for "120" or just say "fullständigt personbevis" Specifically ask for the english version.
