And both your emails were listed? Weird that they are not consistent with what they do.

No, you're right - I didn't list it. Where would I have done that anyway? They only ask for the petitioners e-mail?

If it isn't difficult, it isn't worth it.

I don't know on which form but I'm pretty certain I wrote down my address somewhere. Thought I still had a copy of the I-129F on my chromebook but I guess not. I don't know why else they would send it to me if I didn't write it down somewhere. Doubt they would go by the email of an old visa application as people change email addresses :P

I was also quite sure I had filled it in somewhere, but after looking through both our i129f and g325a - I haven't, and there was no place to write it in either of those.

Right...that's true. they did not have my e-mail address until it was at NVC stage. However I had the case number and downloaded the USCIS app, so I got the updates really fast anyway.

I finally found our I-129F package and I still don't know how they had my email address. We never called NVC as we had involved our Congressman at that point and his office contacted NVC for us and sent us our STK number. Now I'm curious :P Oh well, guess I'll never know.

I did too. But we were discussing how some beneficiaries seems to get the email from the consulate and some doesn't.

Ahh...ok, I haven't been to the consulate yet, so it will be interesting to see what happens. I wonder if it could have something to do with if you chose and agent or not? If you chose the petitioner as agent, then the petitioner get the information,..if you don't chose and agent but use yourself as an "agent" , then I guess you get the information.

So a few things that I can think of.

You can turn up early, I got there at 07:45 and was allowed in without any problems.

You can take your mobile phone, but need to have it powered down and left at the security office.

Try to be as organized as possible with your paperwork, it goes faster if you are.

I know you're going to be very very nervous, I'm sure we all were but from my personal experience the staff were incredibly nice to me and the interview was fast and easy.

I had my interview on Thursday and the visa was delivered on the following Monday, so 4 days approximately.
