It states it on the CEAC popup that shows issued. on our it stated "If you have not received it in more than 10 working days, please see the webpage for contact information of the embassy or consulate where you submitted your application."

We got ours within 6 days but I don't know if there is a different timeframe for IR/CR's vs K1.

Just had a look and talk with someone and that is only for K1/nonimmigrant visa´s

So my Packet and Passport will be here soon i hope.

No new mail since Tuesday. And they got the papers Thursday.

Yes, there are visitor insurances and insurances that are specifically for K1's before they can get on a proper insurance. I bought mine from insu b u y .com (visa hate when people write that website and removes the link, but it's one word ) I had mine for a few months.

I can´t remember if this has been up.

How long do you on avg. wait for the packet and passport after Issued comes up in CEAC?

The day after my status changed to issued, I got an email from Postnord saying a package was on it's way to me. The day after that, I could pick it up at my chosen pickup location. So for me, it took two days from issued to package in hand. Given what others on the CR/IR-1 has said too, count about 2 to 5 working days.

POE went smoothly, only about an hr or so to get through customs because they had 3 intl. flights land at the same time but all an all a very good experience. Navigating the Airport was a bit confusing but all and all went well and my Fiance and his dog are finally home and trying to settle in. Now all the other paperwork that has to be done, ugh...but at least they are here for that.

So happy for everyone that finally have their visa and are reunited with their loved ones. It is a bit stressful living in "limbo" like this, but knowing there's something good waiting in the other end helps a lot. I find a lot of the information in here very helpful Thanks to everyone for sharing. I do however have one question.. I see that some put in their "process" that their cases have been *touched*.. Or petition was sent to the Chicago lockbox and received and approved there on November 19th and sent from there to the Texas Service Center. We are able to follow the case on the USCIS web site and the app,.. however there has been no update what so ever since then.. is that normal?

When you're on the CR/IR-1, USCIS takes five to six months so it's perfectly normal with no CEAC update until towards the end of that period. The many and frequent updates is just before and after the interview.

Ahh...thanks so much for the prompt reply! I figured that was it. I know the estimated processing time in Texas is 5 months, so still (in)patiently waiting. Heading over to be with my hubby in 9 days

So glad we can travel on the VWP and don't have to apply for visitors visa. Makes visiting so much easier.

Checked our case a couple of hours ago, and it was updated with RFE. Tried to call to know what's missing, but they were closed for today. Try again tomorrow. At least we know they've been working on our petition then Progress.

i am wife of green card holder.I have received my visa last week with an envelope which should not be opened. I paid the 165$ fee for USCIS as well. in the letter says I can check the status of my green card at USCIS website. But after payment no receipt number has been assigned to me, I only have tracking number. has anybody same experience of this?
