No code, I just use the side bar to pick what I am looking for, i.e. military, etc. It just lists the acceptable documents from each country and where to obtain them.

Why are you bringing them again, it´s not on my list and was approved all the to the interview.

So what´s the point about it ?

For K1 you bring it to the interview, you don't have to send it in with the original petition.

But if you're a woman and you were never called to do military service or anything - you don't need to bring military papers, right?

It's only if you did military service or were called to do military service but got out of it somehow that you need to bring those papers?

And not to be like that but... Women join the military too

They aren't called before the draft board though, at least to my knowledge. I think that is the paperwork that we are talking about - at least for Denmark you must submit that draft board certification and medical exam results if you were called before them.

Here in Sweden we don't have the draft anymore. Both women and men do it voluntarily now. I sent in papers of my service and that I left the national guard in 2012.

Yes, don't think he needs to have any papers then. I guess there are no papers to show in the first place.

If a person has done military training/service he/she needs to bring papers regardless of whether or not the country has a draft or voluntary military service. If a person has not been in the military, then no papers are needed.
