Oh lord! Just a heads up, it's not just immigration that takes forever and is filled with red tape! The bureaucracy in this country is ridiculous! There is only two ways, you either glide on a räkmacka or go through hell! I got my US passport räkmacka style, my son's passport application is 2,5 months in to it and I can't even get anyone to call me back about it! I have never experienced so much backwardness as I have since I moved here, it's ridiculous!

I just had to vent..

Did you guys get the email from the embassy yet? :)

Got the email last week! We aren't in a huge rush- he is in graduate school at Uppsala until June, but when I booked my flight to see him for his birthday (March 29th) we figured we might as well get the interview over with. He has his medical scheduled for next week, and I am getting on to him about scheduling the interview now that we submitted the DS160. I never imagined this process involving so many steps, but we're very relived every time we chip away at another item on the checklist!

Oh I know your frustration. Dealing with the US government is horrible and there is no logic to the way work at all. Hopefully it's gonna get better and it's all gonna be worth it. Try and hang in there.

If your job situation has changed after the i-129f was sent in, do you bring a new g-325a to the interview to show the changes? This is about me, the beneficiary, so I'm not sure how important this really is?

There is some sort of detailed immigrant data sheet you get from the embassy that lists all employment and schools, I believe. I can't for the life of me remember of the official name of it, but that would be your updated form.

3/2/18  E-filed N-400 under 5 year rule

3/26/18 Biometrics

7/2019-12/2019 (Yes, 16- 21 months) Estimated time to interview MSP office.
