Don't worry about the not eligible on the 221(g), it's just standard wording. If he was told he was approved then his visa will be issued as soon as they have the medical.

Edit: just saw that your medical was on Dec 16th, same as mine. My medical reached the embassy a week later, on Dec 23rd. I would call the medical in Norway if I were you to make sure they didn't miss it.

Driver's license is fine.

So after sweden closed there boarders, what do we do when we go there and have to give them our passport ?

Do they say Drivers license is fine to fly with going back ?

I wonder about the people driving? If it keeps up maybe they'll be convinced to move the cases back to the rest of the embassies in the country that the person is actually from. That would have been helpful.

I just realized today that it'll be 3 years soon since we've been back to Denmark.

Summertime avg waiting day is 3 days. I would imagine that in the off seasons such as winter it might be less.

Sorry I keep forgetting you're doing spousal. Sorry I do not know. The average 3 days is when you get to pick it yourself. If you do spousal I think NVC or the Embassy schedule your interview. Sorry about that.

I was thinking it was way to fast

From what i can see at ceac it looks like it about 26 days from NVC "create" the case and embassy marks it as "ready"

From case complete till the day of the interview at STK it's an average of 40 days I would say. You can have a look at dwheels spreadsheet, I attached the link below. For all Scandinavian's who participate in the spreadsheet, it shows date of case complete, date of interview and how many days between the two. The shortest time anyone had was 27 days, which I believe was an expedited case, and the slowest was 101 days. It's hard to use the statistics because it doesn't take into consideration if a case was expedited or interview date changed or delayed for whatever reason.

I had 47 days from case complete to interview. I know some other Scandinavians with "normal" processing and they were waiting between 35 and 47 days.

Can't remember if I asked this already but I was reading another post and just came to think about our papers again. At the interview, they kept our original marriage certificate, and all other originals too but don't really care about those. But do we get the marriage cert back? Shouldn't they have given our original marriage cert back and kept the copy?

I don´t get why they would keep org. when you had copy. I think that was a mistake at there end.

But if you don´t get it back, you can get a new "org" one.

We had to do that because it got lost moving.

Yeah, I'm beginning to think so too.

We got married in Texas so there's only one original, everything else will be certified copies.
