The airline can demand that you identify yourself, but on my flight between Norway and Sweden 5 weeks ago they didn't even do that.

Only thing here that an make for trouble is the increased border control now, but I still think you should be OK. They handle several visas every day from Scandinavian countries, and if it was a problem we would've probably heard about it by now somewhere.

I hope you're right! I have a connecting plane in Amsterdam - I don't have anything but my drivers license to prove my identity on my way back.

Ah, the connecting flight makes it different :/ technically, since it is within Schengen you should only need a schengen approved id card. For us Norwegians that is the passport, we don't have any others. Not sure for Danes. As proper members of EU hopefully your driver's license will suffice.

I hope so Just in case I have now taken pictures of my passport and I also have the page with appointment confirmation from the U.S. Embassy where my passport no. is on. I hope that's enough.

I flew Copenhagen to Nice and back about 10 days ago and only used my driver's license.

Edit: then train kastrup to Malmo and didn't even had to show my ID for the police on the train

Thank you!! I'm flying to Arlanda airport, Stockholm (currently waiting for my flight at Billund Airport actually haha) and then I'm staying overnight at Hotel Scandic Ariadne which is about a 20 min walk from the U.S. Embassy.

From reading other's reviews, I'm going to show up at the embassy around 7:45 tomorrow morning. My appointment is at 8:30.

Haha I bet I paid 1.912 DKK for my flight round-trip and 791 DKK for the hotelroom. I guess that's pretty cheap? Then there's also the shuttle bus from the airport to Stockholm centrum which is 200 DKK for a round-trip.

This Visa process is SO expensive! Ugh! But it will be worth it <3

Makes sense if you're flying from Copenhagen. No matter what I did I would have to have a layover somewhere since I'm from Jutland haha

Same here, need to fly over the day before.

If i wanted to take the train it is 200-1200 pr trip...
