I have a question regarding the G-325A form. You need to fill in your middle name - what do you do if you have two middle names and there's only space for one? It seems Americans only have one middle name if even that? Further down the form it says "All Other Names Used", can I put my second middle name there or should I just not mention it at all?

Try to write it in the square, make it smaller. "All other names used" is for maiden names and aliases.

The Americans gets well confused by all the middle names lol They always try to use one of mine middle names as my last name! My last name always seem to fall out!

And I've kept up the traditions with many names on all our kids! My youngest son will have issues, we decided he was our last one so we threw in all the names we really wanted to use!

Whenever someone comments on it my husband shakes his head and says it's a Swedish thing and blames it all on me lol

To those of you who interviewed for the CR/IR-1 visa, did you receive an email a few days before your interview and if so, did the email request you to bring a new i-864?

We wanted to be proactive, so my husband filled a new one out and sent to me but it got lost in the mail over the Atlantic. I figured we could just go without it, since we've already submitted one to NVC, but judging from this email it now looks like we do need a new i-864 or is this something the embassy says in all the correspondence but it's never really asked for at the actual interview?

One more question to everyone who's already been for an interview. All appointments seem to be for 8.30 am but what time did they let you guys in? Just trying to figure out what's the best time to arrive at the embassy.

Edit: Just realizing I got a million questions after I got this email from the embassy. About the police certs, did you guys get new ones for the interview or you just brought the original of the one you sent to NVC? Also, it says that the police cert needs to be stamped and signed but mine is just signed, I guess it's the same for everyone in Sweden?

I did not need a new I-864 so it's not something they ask of all. I had a some other stuff they wanted.

Your original police record that you sent to nvc is all you need.

They won't let you in the embassy until just around 830. No need to stay outside and freeze for hours.

Just make sure you stand in the right line, there always seem to be a very long line outside the embassy and luckily that's not the one you have to stand in. If unsure just ask one of the security guys.

I got there a bit before 8 and my actual interview (after they got all my papers, asked me to sit down and read the pamphlet about domestic abuse) started at 8:30. Can't help you with the police cert as I did K1.

I can't believe I haven't thought about this before just now but don't they take your passport when approved at the interview ?! How am I as a Danish Citizen supposed to go back home from Sweden then?

The airline can demand that you identify yourself, but on my flight between Norway and Sweden 5 weeks ago they didn't even do that.

Only thing here that an make for trouble is the increased border control now, but I still think you should be OK. They handle several visas every day from Scandinavian countries, and if it was a problem we would've probably heard about it by now somewhere.
