Then you should be fine. If anything, it shows you know the rules and follow them. And CBP will see when you left the US after entering on the K-1. Just bring that proof of ties to your home country and you should be fine.

The more I read the less I know :( Our sponsor is finally ready to send us his paperwork. My mother-in-laws husband will be our sponsor since she isn't working and he is filling out the I-864. Does my mother-in-law have to fill out anything for example the I-864A? And if yes, what do paperwork do we need from her? I'm thinking we don't need anything from her but please correct me if I'm wrong :)

Since she is not the sponsor she shouldn't need to fill out anything.

If they file taxes jointly and she counts as a household member I do belive she has to sign something. Double check by asking in a new post, you will get more views on your question...

EDIT!! I just looked, she needs to fill out a I-864A

Your sponsor fills out the I-846

Sighs, ok I'm becoming increasingly anxious because my fiance has not received any response from the medical dr. in Oslo. He's called them everyday for the last week with no answer and he has sent email to them but again, no answer still...Does anyone know how to get them to respond? My fiance doesn't want to schedule the interview until we can get the medical scheduled so I'm getting very worried now because its been a week and we cannot seem to get a hold of the dr's office to schedule this. Any suggestions?

I'm sorry to hear you're having problems. Only thing i can add is that the email i used was info@emigrationmedical.com and they usually answered the next day, sometimes the day after that.

I got "issued" on a Tuesday afternoon and got the pick-up notice for the passport on the following Monday.

I have to ask, why do you get a new passport when you get the visa..?

Have you looked at similar timelines for IR1 at cali service center to get an idea how far you are? ... I can see they only received it like 14 days ago. NVC is the stage that takes the longest with that kind of visa.

18 days ago yes.

And i have 6-9 other timelines like mine.

But even with them, i still had hope of getting lucky.

My 130 and 129F went faster then the estimated times.

And all places says that NVC is faster then Service centers.

But this is just how it is :)

Will get the best out of it. Have all the papers rdy, for when i get a case number etc.

Okay well don't think you'll get the K-3 though I think you'll get the IR1 since K-3 isn't really giving that much more.

I have been in here a year reading and with CR1 and IR1 people have always been waiting at the NVC stage.

But I wish you the best and hope something will happen soon so you can be with your family.
