Hey guys and gals, I have another quick question. About how long did it take for you to get the packet 3? The DHL tracking shows that the consulate in Sweden received it on 11/05 so I'm just trying to see when I should be seeing something from them via email. Thanks!!

Wouldn't be surprised if you get the email checklist on Monday.

When you visited your partner in the US via the Waiver program, were the TSA ever suspicious? Did they ever think maybe you were there to get married? Just curious how that works, if they questioned you did you tell them like it was - that you were there to see your bf/gf?

Honestly I've said I was there to visit my best friend the 3 times I've visited my fiancé (who technically was a friend on my first visit and my bf on the next two visits). It was obviously a lie and I should probably have told the truth however I didn't want them to reject me when I had flown all the way overthere. In hindsight I can see they could have sent me away regardless of who I was visiting.

We would never go against the rules and commit fraud like get married without applying for K1 visa so I didn't want them to suspect me of just that if I said I was visiting my bf AGAIN.

On my third visit this June, the officer was suspiciously asking why I was visiting America already since I was there July till October last year. Other than that it has been smooth.

It took 7 days. The embassy received our petition on October 2 and we received an email on October 9.

Hi everyone,

My Fiancee has her interview on Thursday Nov.12! :joy: I have a question if someone could answer. She has her birth certificate in English but she can't find her original that's in Norwegian. Does she need her original for the interview too?

Thanks,

Gina :content:

No she does not :) As long as it's got some kind of official stamp or signature from whoever gives out the certificates in Norway she should be fine.

Hello everyone, my fiancee just got denied her visa because apparently i didn't mark the "intend" box on the I-134 form. I went off the example that was on here and that didn't work. If anyone can tell me if they had this experience before?? What should i put down for question 11 on that form?

Thanks,

Gina :content:

Hi,

I had none of the boxes on point 11 marked and the text "N/A (K1 VISA PROCESS FOR PERMANENT RESIDENCE)" written under. I had my interview last week and got approved this week (after a 221g on a unrelated I-134 issue).

If i had filled out that section i would've put "do not intend" because my fiancee isn't planning on paying anything for me specifically; I would have the money to pay for my own expenses for three months in the states.

I'm so sorry to hear that :( What a stupid reason for denying her the visa!

So from my understanding you didn't get approved at your interview bc of this issue too but a week later you got approved?

Thanks,
