When filing for the AOS for the affidavit of support (I-134 form)

1. Can we use a co-sponsor just like we did on the I-129f application?

2. if we use the same joint sponsor, can we use the same documents(evidence) or do i need to get updated ones?

Make sure you fill out i-864 with AOS, not I-134

I would get updated ones too if i was you. Just always better safe than sorry. If you are able to! Then you might avoid an RFE! Good luck with it :-)

Hey Camilla - for the interview, was it your "straffeattest" you had to bring as "police certification"? Did you have it translated by an official translator or did you just order it in English on borger.dk ? And did you get it signed at your local police station or did you just bring the copy with no signature?

Just received packet 3 from the U.S. Embassy in Sweden and I have already gotten my straffeattest through borger.dk however I don't want to show up with the wrong piece of paper :)

you have to go to the nearest police station and get it signed, and it has to be the english version, but the one on Borger isnt gonna be good enough. So go to the nearest station and tell them you are applying for this visa and needs a english version of ur Straffeattest and signed. Make some copies. You will need it for later in the process once you are married maybe. The one you get on Borger isnt explicit enough they told me when i went to get mine signed. So they do it all for you in a nano second :-) Held og lykke! Hvornår er dit interview?? Camilla

Thank you SO much! You just saved me an unnecessary trip to Sweden haha (phew!) I had a feeling the one I got wasn't sufficient. I haven't set up the date for my interview just yet, going to schedule the medical on Monday and then I'll fill out the DS-160 and schedule an appointment :)

BTW. In regards to your Birth Certificate, did you get it translated by an official translator or did you just use the Danish/English version that's also available for order through Borger.dk? :)

Uhhhh good luck! :) We were debating between the 10th and the 17th as well however choosing the latter will give my fiancé some additional time to gather the employment letter and such.

I hope Christmas being one week away at that point in time won't delay the arrival of the Visa. Either way we're shooting for me arriving sometime in the middle of / end of January so no worries there :)
