Anybody from Norway that has been to the Sweden embassy recently? If so what hotels are best and closet to stay at? And also how's the best way to get to the hotel from the airport? If anyone can help, that would be wonderful

Also if you do not care about the price, Villa Källhagen Hotel, is the closest one, 1495 per night :D Also walking distance from Karlaplan.

You will get an email from the Stockholm embassy once they have received your packet from the NVC.

Tthey will confirm the time of the interview and what you will need to bring with you.

(at least that is what we got, and we will have our interview this coming Tuesday)

Nothing to confirm on the CEAC page or in any other way.

Just wanted to say thank you!

Yep, they've had some issues. My guess is they're performing maintenance on the webpage.

The interview itself took 5 minutes. But once you get there you hand over the papers you have and then you wait and wait and wait! And then they will do the interview. Bring coins for the vending machine!

Also, when you get there make sure you stand in the right line outside the embassy! There will be two lines

Our appointment was at 830, we were there at 815. We waited about 20 minutes before we handed our passports over. Then we waited about an hour, they called us to a window to write our address on an envelope and put on stamps and hand in the paperwork they asked for. And then we waited another hour and a half before getting interviewed. We were done just after 11.

We had our appointment at 8:30am on Tuesday last week. We got there by 8am and by 9:30am we were finished. (My wife had the interview, I waited outside the embassy)

All K-visa interviews (and possibly other interviews? don't quote me on that) are scheduled for 8:30am, so everyone shows up around then and are interviewed on a first come, first serve basis. If you want to be out of there quickly it's better to show up early, I was the second person in line and I was done before 9am (I showed up at 8am). Keep in mind that the first line you get to is outside, so if you want to show up super early, wear warm clothes! The line itself is in a sort of shed-like structure with a roof, so you don't have to worry about getting yourself and your papers wet if it rains :)
