Congratulations on a smooth POE. You didn't even have to go to secondary screening?!

I've been choosing POE between Newark and Dulles, but have been leaning towards Newark since I've been going through there for the past year. Good to know Dulles is a breeze too.

No I didn't. I don't know if it's more likely to be put in secondary if you arrive between 3-4PM (Airport rush hour) since processing K1 takes a while or they put questionable people in secondary.

Feels good to be back home, back with my stuff and sleep in our bed instead of on a pull out couch.

Hi everyone!

So I had the interview and it all went well except we had checked one box on the I-134 financial support form wrong... His mom is sponsoring me and I came to the conclusion that box 11 intend or don't intend to make specific contributions, would be ticked as don't intend since it says 'specific' contributions... I've tried to researched this before and only seen what the fiancé would do: "N/A k1-visa. Apparently when it's a joint sponsor this needs to be filled in as "intend". Maybe it's logical but anyway his mom need to change this. But I don't know what she would write underneath where it says "indicate exact nature and duration of the contribution". Do you guys think it would be ok to just write:

"To help support with any necessities she might need to assure that she don't become a public charge."

It would just be so hard to specify more. I mean I will have enough money to support my self until I will be able to start work so I don't really need her support but that's not really something that I can use in this form. And my fiancé will off course support the way he can but the place he works at now only give him a few hours per week right now so for the paperwork that won't work either...

What do you guys think?

As the interview is getting closer I'm getting more nervous and thinking about everything I'm going to bring.

So I ask you to help me with this question!

For the I-134, is TurboTax okay as proof of the tax returns ???

The w-2 is included for each year! (2012, 2013, 2014)

And do I need to bring both my original Danish and translated English birth certificate?

Right now I'm thinking that only the English version is okay, but do I bring the Danish one too?

I couldn't be sure but I think so. They seemed to wanted proof about income but not that you had the exact right type of tax papers

I need your help :)

I got the checklist, it says: birth certificate has to state the date and place of birth for both of my parents...

On the Danish birth certificates it does not state any of that, just their names...

What should I do?
