I paid online on June 11 and I haven´t recieved mine yet... :( I even chose the most expensive shipping... Hope nothing is wrong...

That was 8 working days ago... Either it got lost in the mail or cheapest option would have been sufficient in your case :( Because the most expensive shipping promised faster delivery right?

I called the police and got the tracking no. It arrived on June 16 to the address where I´m registered. Apparently the address change I´ve made doesn´t work with these kinds of papers or with this shipping method... My friend who is staying at my place has been on vacation since June 14. Fortunately I have a key and was just there and picked it up! :)

Hi guys! Arrived friday with no problems! Poe was a breeze. Never has entering the states been so smooth! Took the usual fingerprint and then asked for my package and before i pointed out the part of where it was damaged he ripped open my package, looked at it for 1 min and stamped mt passport and asked if i had any questions and then sent me off.. Just like that!! We have an appointment for the SSN on friday morning so i will let you all know how that goes! Hopefully it wont cause problems! Now off to try and find a wedding dress before wedding in 22 days zzz. I hope i can find one. Else it will be as God created me on the beach in Maui haha!! Ehhh. Yay! Wedding dress shopping is so much fun. I recommend David's Bridal, since they have a lot of stuff readily available. Be prepared for them to be shocked, SHOCKED, that you're getting married so soon and you don't have a dress yet. :P

Yes, I too recommend David's Bridal! Really nice place and the staff is super helpful :)

Glad everything went fine and that POE was a breeze. I only have 20 days left! And my cute fiance had asked the PR guy at the airport (we've met him a couple of times, super nice guy) if he could surprise me at the gate but unfortunately he was out of town at that time anyway and because I was flying directly in from an international country it would have been a pain anyway. Cute idea though!

By the way, what line did you go through? The regular visitors line?

When do you leave for Hawaii?

well at Oakland airport its so small that they only have a line for everyone. So all the americans have to stand in same line as us hehe. Thats a slow line! But i know for a fact you have to go to the Immigration line for citizens! Thats what the embassy told me when i double checked in Stockholm. I didnt even get to secondary room. He just did it all at the counter! Was perfectly smooth and fast and no questions asked for once!! ? we leave for Hawaii 13th of July, then we have to get the marriage license same day as theres that 24 hour rule of not being able to use it 24 hours after we get it. We booked it online ans filled out the papers already so its ready to sign and be picked up. Then 14th is a prep day with a bucket shopping and the beach. We found this awesome pastor who will wed us and do everything for us for 200$! The 15th in the sunset we will wed! We met the 15th of October 2012 for our first date in New York so we wanted that date! Its gonna be a tight one!! Hopefully the weather will be with us and perfect! The rest is 5 days of honeymoon! Woohoo!!! SSA office is on friday! Fingers crossed! How are things moving along with you guys?? ?? Hugs Camilla

So I called NVC today to see if they've got my case now...

I got to talk to a man.. He first said: "you have to wait 30 days from USCIS send it to us.."

Then 10 sec later he said: "you have to wait 35 days until you should call"

Then finally he ended the call by saying: "so wait 42 days until calling us"

??? omg!

It's like the longer you stay on the phone with them, the more days they add on ?

Crazy!

So the case was send from TSC on Monday June 22, we had our NOA2 on June 11, when should I expect them to assign my new case number?

Should I even be listening to what they are saying about the wait time ??

Okay, yeah I'll be flying into a much bigger airport. I've been there plenty of times (my favorite airport actually). It will be in the evening though so not many flights will be joining me in customs. I hope that I won't be one of those being pulled into secondary. Don't see it happening but I'm an expert on expecting the worst.

Only 18 days left until you leave for Hawaii then :)

For us... Well we're just waiting for me to get over there. Pretty much ready with everything: invitations almost ready to be sent out for the wedding pretty much everything is booked and ready. So just waiting for those 18 days to go by :P

So glad I never bothered to call them, seems like they don't really know what's going on. Not USCIS or NVC :P

When we POEed all first entry immigrants were sent to secondary. I guess it just depends on the day and the airport.

Do you know if you arrived during the airports rush hour? I would guess they're most likely to pull you into secondary during rush hour so you won't create a big line. I know Dulles (the airport I'm going too) have a crazy amount of flights in customs at the same time during rush hour and it would probably happen if I arrived during that time.

I called two weeks after I got NOA2 and they said the same thing to me. Called the next day and they said they received my case but no case no, wait up to 42 days... Called the day after and they had the number. ? So I would recommend to keep calling ??
