Hi again! :)

When you schedule an interview are you only able to see available dates for the next month? I can only see 3 available dates in July and then nothing for the coming months...

I might wanted to schedule for beg August but now it looks like there´s no available dates.

OMG, there's only three more interview times available for July?! I wonder if these three are for all immigration visas or only for the K-1 and then there will be others for the CR/IR-1?! I'm still hoping for an interview in July.

Thanks. :) Hoping to get case complete at NVC soon so I can book interview.

It's pretty cool that we can book online in Scandinavia. :) Seems like it's only us and a few other countries.

Should be divided into only K1's and then you'll be able to see all the CR/IR-1. Otherwise they really have a very limited amount of spots for the two categories.

I just realized that I never used the Invoice ID no. or the Beneficiary ID no. that NVC provided. Have any of you used these numbers for anything? Worried I forgot something or did something wrong... ?

It's funny, when I was waiting for my NOA2 everyone was telling everyone "make sure you call NVC for the beneficiary ID and invoice ID". And I was kind of freaking out because me and Seve never bothered to call NVC. We just got our STK number from our Congressman.

I don't know if some countries need them but Swedes don't. Only thing you need for the embassy process is the STK number for the medical and the number you got from USCIS for the DS-160.

... I've never even heard of those ID's and I've never called the NVC. Is the Beneficiary ID the number above your name on the NOA2? If so I've never used it for anything, and I only just noticed it now. Still got my Visa, I think you'll be fine :)

I think it's more for us on the CR/IR-1 visa, because we use it like all the time. Everything we need to do for our visa after the petition was approved, we need the case number and invoice ID to do.

So your interview is on 16th July. Congrats by the way! :) Have you started thinking about when you'll be moving over? Anyone else start preparing for the move? How are you planning on moving your things? Are you bringing furniture? Just curious how others have planned their move, as it seems quite expensive to bring furniture with.

I'm just bringing the remainder of my things over in suitcases. Don't have any furniture (apart from a dresser I inherited that I'm letting my mom keep for now). Have been living with my parents during the process and lived in the US prior to that.

How much does it cost to ship everything over? Only thing I know is that it's cheaper to ship it by sea then to do it by air.

Thank you! Very exited! ☺️

Planning to leave mid August. If it's possible I would like to leave even sooner but need to wait until my employer has find a replacement for me.

I have left a lot of my clothes in the US already. And I can bring two bags with SAS so I think that will be enough for me. I've sold all my furniture already and moved in with a friend to save some money.

At first I was thinking of sending some furniture and looked around. From what I could find it would cost at least 20000-30000 SEK and when I thought about it a little more I felt that 'it is only furniture' and my fiancé has enough in his home so decided to sell instead and save as much money as I can since I know I will need it later... ? The furniture/things that means a lot to me I have left with my family for now
