Had my medical today. Went fine. Just waiting to see if my bank messed up my visa payment or if the embassy has received it. Should have been able to schedule my interview by now but I still, after 2 business days have not been able to schedule it.

hi you guys! Did you wait untill you recieved package 3 with doing the ds-160? And how does that work? Im still confused. My case is on its way to stockholms embassy. I dont have medical appointment till next week tho. And it takes 14 days for denmark to clear it and send it to stockholm. Will you let me know how stocked up the interview dates look on their calender when you get to that? :-)) im so nervous about how far out in the summer the interviews might be? If theres months wait for an interview. So weird the NVC told me the embassy will be scheduling it for us? Not myself? I get confused will all these offices uscis and nvc hehe Good luck you guys! I just waited until I got my checklist and had gathered all the paperwork before starting the ds-160 as I needed some of it to finish it. I can't see the schedule until I get my payment. I can however see on ustraveldocs.com (the page you'll most likely will be using for your process from now on) that next available interview is May 7th.

I hope so too! :) It came in an email, i forget if it came the same day or the day after the status said it had arrived in stockholm.

And yeah I know, we seem to be a small group. I saw a guy at the clinic who were doing the same kind of medical and I wanted to ask him for what visa and where he was going but then I realized I was in Sweden and not America. Swedes don't talk to strangers :P

I can give you a slightly better answer to the schedule. I was finally able to schedule my appointment. They say you can schedule the appointments Monday through Thursday but looking at the schedule it looked more like Thursday's only. And that's kind of the impression I've got looking at the next available date section of ustraveldocs.com. It has always been a Thursday. I didn't really look at how many available dates there were or spots. I saw that in May there's 1 spot left on May 7 ( I took the other one ) and then there's an unknown number of spots left on the 21st of May. Then it goes into June and i didn't look at June. I got too excited :P

Yes, which it is if you're applying for K1. You seem to be applying for the CR1 so you should fill out the DS-260. The reason why K1 people use the DS-160 is because we will get a visa for 1 entry into the united states on a non-immigrant visa and within 90 days we should file for adjustment of status. K1 one is technically a non-immigrant visa even though it is under the immigrant visa section on the us embassy website.

It has confused me too a bunch of times :P

Haha I bet, maybe they do it in case people decide to go back home to marry instead....gah, who knows what they're thinking. Anyway, I have submitted my DS-260 and the documents. Hoping I can go back home to my adopted country by autumn. :) At least, before the worst of the year begins. lol
